No mention of Herobrine so far? I'm calling it now, the entire movie is going to be about a guy trying to prove herobrine exists, and the ending will be that he doesn't.

Good, It's about time. I just hope that Mojang is careful to not block innocent servers due to just one report from someone with something against them. I think It's great that Mojang is enforcing the rules, I just don't want them to stop an innocent server.

I agree with most of your ideas to make more items stack, but not anything with durability or enchanted books, because those would really just be a hassle to code in most cases, and would probably lead to glitches. If you installed single player commands, and made, say a diamond pick, stack to 8, and you had a half broken one and a new one, depending on how you stacked it, it would fix both picks or make both picks half durability. Enchantments also cause problems.

Shields were rebalanced? Rebalanced how exactly? Did the durability change, did how much they protect you change, hat changed?

I hope armor degradation doesn't return. I've liked the 1.9 changes so far, except for adding armor degradation. Not to say I don't have ideas for improvements to 1.9 features, but they are better than what we had before.

Perhaps he has gone insane from sleep deprivation, and is hallucinating the whole game from his room in the local asylum.

I believe he was talking about the second thing on this http://webapp1.dlib.indiana.edu/newton/reference/chemProd.do list. Also, for the record, there is no such thing as antimmonium, it's called antimony.

I don't see why you need a special data type for researches. Say each research has a unique string ID. Use basic java file Read/Write capabilities to make a .txt document in the playerdata folder for each player who has logged into the world, and have each file be named either the username or UUID of the player (there are advantages and disadvantages to each). In each file, just write the ID of each research that player has gotten, one ID per line. That way it is simple to understand, easy to edit if something breaks, and doesn't involve a new data type. Unless of course their is something I'm missing?

1. The material is Material.metal, but I mean solid not in the sense of being able to walk through it, but non-solid like glass.
2. Thanks, I'll look into that.
3. I actually managed to fix this one since I asked, but thanks anyways!

I actually have 3 questions, so I'll ask them all now:
1: The selection box is invisible on TESR blocks, but it does function. How do I make the selection box visible on a TESR? (I did change the size of the selection box, but it's fine on a non-TESR).
2. How do I make the selection box have multiple parts, as in if I wanted for example a stair shaped selection box with a large slab part and then a quarter block part, how would I do that? I see how to do it with bounding box, but not selection box.
3. So I am making a block that needs to be on a solid block (same requirements as a torch would be fine), and isn't a full block (I don't want to be able to place one of these on another one of these). However, I can't seem to be able to make the game think my block isn't solid, I can place torches on it and so on. Also, I can't get my block to tell the difference between a solid block and a non-solid block, it pops off of air, but stays fine on a torch for example. I've tried override isNormalCube, isFullCube, and isOpaqueCube to return false, and they aren't working. To detect block solidity, i've been using world.isSideSolid to detect solidity, and that returns true for everything but air, instead of returning false on for example a torch.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Still looking for 1 more person if anyone is interested!

Have you considered storing the data differently from inventory to prevent any future bugs like this from cropping up, even from interaction with other mods? For example, thaumcraft stores research (and I think warp) in a separate file to normal playerdata.

PLEASE do not make the mistake so many other mods have made! Don't balance the boss fight with the assumption the players have other mods installed unless this mod is designed to be played with a certain other mod. Balance things around vanilla, around the other stuff in your mod, and avoid power creep at all costs. For examples of doing it right and wrong, Botania does balancing right, Draconic Evolution has succumbed to power creep entirely.

No, because you said your computer couldn't handle it. You could be if you feel confident your computer could handle it though.

I should mention we still need one more person, as one of the people who signed up couldn't do it due to time zones (We're on the U.S. time zones).

I'd personally recommend Mirillis Action (It's slightly cheaper, runs fast, and has some nice features) but then again I've never tried d3dGear.

So from looking at some of your videos, I can see you're a little young, and while their is no hard age limit, you are a little on the low side. Some people involved might swear, and while they are supposed to keep it minimal, there will probably be some, so if your parents don't allow you to hear swearing I can't condone you joining. PM to let me know if that is a problem or not before I add you on skype please. There is also the question as to if your teammates will mind, but I personally don't have a problem.

Will 0.4 be for minecraft 1.8, 1.8.9, or 1.9?

I'll message you on skype too, but I'll answer your question as to the rules here so anyone can see them, the current idea for the rules are 1. No cheating (obviously, so no hacking or using dupe glitches), 2. No attacking the other team if they don't have at least 1 player online (and AFK counts as online, so be warned), and no attacking the other team on the first (minecraft) day in any way.

My friends and I have a small channel (a bit under 100 subs) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_LZzgl_NuPfLgcCJyCczOQ and we had an idea for a series that we can't do alone. A remake for the old ICBM mod was just released for 1.7.10, and we thought it would be cool if the three of us found a group of 3 other youtubers (who preferably know each other) and formed 2 teams of 3, channel vs channel. No cheating, certain rules would be in place to stop things getting out of hand, but it would be pretty much all out war. The modpack would be one I would make (if you were to do this with us, suggestions for mods are welcome), but would of course be centered around ICBM. Requirements: Able to join a server (I would host it), skype, minimal swearing (some is allowed), and a team of about 3 people. Both teams can record their own viewpoints for their channel. Now I should mention that because their is a chance the two groups won't really be compatible, before we would do this series, we would probably chat on skype a bit to make sure we can get along. Message me or post a reply if you have questions or you want to apply. Their isn't really a form, so just mention anything you think we should know. The three people on my side are me (Max), my friend Colin (We call him Bobo because reasons), and Dini (who lives in denmark but speaks english just fine).

Thanks, that makes a lot more sense. Also, I was using j originally, but the forums seems to be turning letters in square brackets into formatting, so I changed it in the post.
