"My name is David, where am I" I replied looking around the dimly lit room.
"You are in my home in Goodsprings, you were brough here and well we all thought you were not going to make it.... You took a gun shot to the head, tell me son what happened?"
I sat up and looked at the man in front of me, he had a kind face and it put me at ease.
"I am not sure what happened" I replied "I was escorting a caravan from Camp Forlorn Hope to Primm and we were ambused by a group of powder gangers, normally this would not be a problem but my gun jammed and then I felt a sharp pain in my head and thats all I remember"
Doc Mitchell helped me to my feet "Follow me son" He softly said "Lets go to the other room and I will get you some food and water"
We went into another dimly lit room, it was full of books, real books not the half burnt ones most people have.
"Make yourself at home" Doc said "I will get you some food and water"
I looked around the room some more until I was became dizzy and had to sit down, "Are you alright" the doc said returning to the room.
"Yes just a little dizzy" I replied.
We ate the food while engaging in small take until Doc asked where I was from.
"I lived in Nipton until I was old enough to use a gun, and since then I have been working for local trade caravans to earn caps but it is getting harder these days with the threat of all out war with ceasers legion" Taking a drink I continued "After this trip I was going to send all the caps I had earned home and join the NCR, at least with them you have someone to cover your back when things go bad"
We talked for another hour or so until I decided to go out and get some fresh air, I went to the door and opened it and took my first look at Goodsprings......

MR WIZARD= DENIED, for now. If you are not a ghoul there is no way you lived from the great war to now. That's more then 50 years. On top of that you surmise that long amount of time (between the great war and new vegas) as 6 months. This goes against Fallout Lore. Also the Brotherhood don't accept ghouls. Furthermore, I would like to see the rp example to get an idea of your character's personality. Besides that looks good!
FOR NOW, DENIED. Victor can't give you that many caps. Each wastelander begins with only 50 caps. Also explain who the spanish man is and why you killed his brother. Furthermore you seem deranged and a killer in your biography but then you are very polite to victor. Do you find it easier speaking to robots then humans. Just bring out more of your character's personality. Besides that Looking Good.

WHAT IS FALLCRAFT NEW VEGAS?
FNV is a Fallout themed minecraft server. The server itself takes place in the Mojave Desert. All major locations of the Mojave are represented on the server map. This also includes all the factions of the wasteland represented by both players and npcs. After having made an application for builder you will be assigned a location to build as your "trial". From then on you will participate in major building events until the main map is completed. As a gfx artist or a texturer your path will be much the same. You shall create a trial image/texture and then show it to us. You will then be able to choose your own tasks depending on what is needed. You can also join us as a plugin configurer helping us configurate our plugins and finding/making new ones. Ask a staff member for more specifics depending on the job you wish to take.

Money makes the world go round! Or rather bottlecaps in this case. Bottlecaps or "caps" are the currency in this post-apocalyptic world. They are represented by gold nuggets and can be stacked up to 5000.
They can also be stored in banks or private safes. Watch out though banks can make ideal spots for an ambush. The law will always be present in these locations.

Rules are a very important aspect of a good roleplay server. Obviously to maintain the illusion of actual life it is important to respect some values and norms.
NORMS AND VALUES:
- Any person using racial slurs and any other form of discrimination towards any player will be punished.

Legate
This is the higest and most respected rank you can achieve in the Legion. It will take months of work to get this position and there is only one, so get in the Legion as fast as possible.
Estimated time it would take to get this position: 10-12 months.

This is the seconds highest rank you can achieve in the Legion. It is a VERY high rank and will take months to achieve.
Decanus
This is the third highest rank you can achieve in the Legion and is well respected. Legionaries are given the position of decanus when they display leadership potential consistently in battle. A legionary decanus has the authority to run small camps as well as act as a deputy for the local centurion.
Veteran
This is the fourth highest rank in the Legion and is well respected. Veteran legionaries are not only the best equipped amongst the standard legionaries, they are also the most experienced as well. They are typically held in reserve until the recruit and the prime legionaries are defeated.
Prime Legionary
This is the fifth highest rank in the Legion and is respected. Prime legionaries are better equipped than recruits. They also have the benefit of greater experience and training than the standard legionaries. In short, the prime legionaries are a full step above Caesar's recruits.
Recruit
This is your starting rank in the Legion. Legionaries are drawn into Caesar's service through three methods. The first method involves being born in the Legion. The second method is if a tribe is assimilated (albeit forcibly) into the ranks of the legion. The third method involves choosing physically fit slaves for training. However, only males are allowed to serve as infantrymen. Women are forbidden from entering combat. Once the men or boys are deemed fit to serve as warriors, their training begins. The road to becoming a full-fledged legionary is fraught with hardship and under-performing recruits are threatened with death. If the trainees survive the instructors' trials, they are given the right to join the legion's ranks. As a result, the legion's fighters are skilled, tenacious, and fearless. In comparison to the NCR's recruits, who are sometimes given as little as two weeks of combat training, legionaries are consummate warriors and can easily overpower NCR soldiers in hand-to-hand combat. However, the recruits must now face the most dangerous time of their lives. The most inexperienced warriors in the legion are given only crude machetes, improvised throwing spears, and antiquated firearms to battle their foes with. To make matters worse for the recruits, they are marched to the front and their armor provides little protection against any weapon stronger than a straight razor. Finally, when faced with an enemy wielding firearms (such as NCR troopers and rangers), beyond throwing spears and whatever guns are available, recruits simply have to wade through enemy fire and hope that they survive long enough to engage their foes up close. In essence, survival is very difficult for a recruit. However because of the low tech nature of the recruits they are mostly deployed on patrols with a higher ranking legionary. Or they take part in small to medium size raids and skirmishes.

The Brotherhood of Steel (BoS) is a quasi-religious organization operating across the ruins of post-war North America, with its roots stemming from the American military and the government-sponsored scientific community from before the Great War. If you decide to apply for the Brotherhood and get accepted, you will gain far superior weaponry and security than other factions but with a loss of numbers. Also if you going the Brotherhood, you will rarely be involved in any of the action in the Mojave. this is due to the amount of losses the Brotherhood took at the Battle Of Helios One. After the battle, the Brotherhood chose to reside in an abandoned bunker in hidden valley and have been rarely seen since. You will only be allowed out the bunker with Elder permission, though this is very rare and the bunker is mostly kept on lock down.
