I usually start a world by gathering some wood, and if possible, sand and stone, and by dusk i can build a small hut like this one:
What i did on the world im playing on now is, i encased that small wood house in a wooden fort, and covered that one with thick stone walls, and now its grown into a big castle.
Nice work. You look to have got a good grasp of the carrack style. I particularly like the foremast/beakhead/bowsprit area, and the pennants. Hard to tell, but it looks like you've got a fairly low length-to-beam ratio - might be a little bit ponderous!
Planning on building any more?
Thanks!
And yes, i'm planning on making a navy with many types of ships between the viking longboat and the 19th century frigate, i will hopefully start soon.
After seeing other shipbuilders on this forum i was inspired, and decided to build my own ship. Endeavour is a medieval/renaissance trading carrack, about 40 blocks length, built in 1 block: 1 meter scale
So here it is:
Outside: (I know it looks terrible on that aquarium thingy, please don't comment on that)
Inside:
Whipstaff & Binnacle
Quarterdeck cabins
Orlop deck
Sailor's cabins
Galley
Cable locker
Boatswain's room
The Hold:
Sail room
Bread & Flour room
Main cargo hold
I hope you liked it, suggestions and constructive criticism is appreciated
I'm hopefully making more ships soon, so stay tuned!

That... is amazing
I wish i knew how to build ship interiors like that, or even make them so beautiful from the outside
When are you posting a tutorial?

I challenge you to build a railway from your tower that connects to at least 4 other floating islands.

BTW, thanks for the positive comments

Its simple, just a hole carved into a hill with some wood bracings, inspired on the abandoned mineshafts that spawn naturally.

Out of curiosity; how long does it take you to build a battleship from scratch?

Which one of your ships is the longest?
