This is an absolutely amazing mod! It definitely works better than SPC in my honest opinion. I do have one question though: how do you install craftscripts with this mod?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found where the directory is. :)

    Great to hear :)

I have made a start on the first villager, much later i may look at trying some techniques to up scale the pack to 256x (i have had a play with some good results)

Sounds great! I'm looking forward to seeing the future 256x whenever it comes out. :) That villager also looks epic and it matches the theme nicely as well.

I absolutely love this texture pack, it truly is an amazing piece of work (especially the shaders aspect of it)! Do you plan on making textures for villagers sometime in the near future? Also, do you plan on making a 256x version of this amazing texture pack?

    Quote from zakstr619

Really wish it would be updated to 1.7.4. Please? I'm begging! It's so useful for adventure maps but I want to use 1.7 new command block commands. :Notch: :Pig: :steve_shocked:

Davidee is most likely updating to 1.7.2, not 1.7.4. The reason why is that Forge is only updated to 1.7.2. Another reason I believe this is the case is that Davidee updated his GUI Lib mod, which is required to run his mods, to 1.7.2. Thinking these reasons, he will be updating to 1.7.2 and it should be really soon as well. :)

... - anything special you guys have in mind?

Hmmm... The only thing special I can come up with at the moment would be making the editing/writing of book pages easier so mapmakers can create quest logs, random books, etc. without much hassle. Instead of a simple line (like in the 1.6.4 version), maybe users of this amazing mod could type everything out in a text box that has a limit on how much you can type in it (maybe format the text box like an actual MC book page perhaps?) and you can also see formats being updated live when you add them in.

posted a message on Misa's Realistic Texture Pack (UPDATED TODAY! 1 MAR 2021)

I think we all know Misa from her posts well enough to know that if she had something she wanted us to know about her health or whereabouts, she wouldn't send in some anonymous person claiming to be her RL friend whose profile doesn't even give their age, gender, or location to deliver the first information we've heard about her for 6 months.

I've reported your post and hope others will do the same.

I think you are assuming too much here. For all we know, saotomato could actually be one of Misa's IRL friends. If saotomato isn't shame on him/her but, lets be glad we have anything at all that could potentially point us to Misa's current whereabouts. I really do think we will hear from Misa soon but, patience is key in the current situation. I have always found Misa's work to be amazing and I would love to design an adventure map using her epic resource pack in a completed state. :)

posted a message on [64x][1.7.x] Misa's Realistic Resource PATCH by pscof42 (Updated 14Jan2014)
Even though I haven't downloaded this patch yet (I'm waiting for Optifine atm), I do have some feedback just by looking at the screenshots. Here's a list of some comments:

    The Good:

    - The flowers & plants look very well done (even though some see it as plastic-looking).

    - The stained glass is very well done! Nice work on the color selection.

    - Packed ice is very well done and looks excellent!

    - Red sand is nicely done (used colored transparency over the existing white sand texture?).

    - Acacia trees (in their entirety) and the saplings of dark oak & acacia are nicely done!

Needs improvment (even though some of it may be mentioned already):

    - How the dark oak leaves work next to each other (currently the tiling is quite obvious).

    - Dark oak planks currently don't look like wood planks (currently appears as ceramic tile).

    - Acacia planks don't follow closely with default coloring scheme (maybe using a colored transparency layer of an earthy-orange color on an image editing software should do it?).

    - Podzl tiling needs some work (I personally don't have anything against the the grey region on the sides though).

Thank you for your amazing work so far pscof42! I'll definitely check this thread often until Misa updates the main pack. ^_^

you're not the only one thinking that way, i personally feel like a map maker, but mostly for personal purposes, i have added things like that in survival worlds with too many items just to make them more interesting, that's why i want misa to do this, but, now that there's a legit way to spawn them i don't think there's anything else to stop her making the textures other than the 'unused' content could be subject to change, but still, why not? i would make them myself, but i'm not a professional artist like misa is, thanks for your support XD.

Oh, and, have you tried the Slime thing? if you do, don't make it bigger than 16 or it could lag your game.

    PD: i made a 256 block-high slime yesterday T-T

You do have a point Darckray, these mobs technically aren't illegit anymore due to the new /summon command. All player has to do now is enable cheats and they can spawn any mob they want as long as they how to format the command for the specific mob they want.

Misa, Do you remember this? well... i was hoping that when you resume your texture pack again, you could take consideration about this, because you don't need third party software to spawn 'unused' content anymore, with the command /summon, you can spawn all of these, even more, you can spawn almost everything in the game, even EnderCrystals!, i don't think Mojang will remove those in the future, they have stated that they would keep 'unused content' for map makers, if you don't think it's possible, try it yourself, here are some examples: /summon Giant ~ ~ ~ or /summon EntityHorse ~ ~ ~ {Type: 3} (or 4)
you can even make the skeletal horse and the zombie horse rideable!, i assure you a lot of map makers will use these 'unused mobs', no, they're already doing so, it would be awesome for you to make textures for those... and... about the green robed villager's role... i guess he could be some type of Druid or something similar, or a hobo XD, Thanks

I completely agree on this Darckray; as a map maker myself, this definitely should be done since I personally see this as the best HD texture pack in the community of Minecraft. I would love to be able to utilize these illegit mobs in my maps and recommend Misa's texture pack for the ultimate visual experience to the playerbase that play my maps.

Are you updating this texturepack for 1.7.2?

If you took the time to read the last 10 pages, you would know that it will be updated but, when is another question. Misa is currently dealing with stuff IRL so all we can do is wait which to me is completely worth it when you think about the quality of her work here.

posted a message on MCEdit Filter Requests
After much thought, I thought of an interesting idea for an MCEdit Filter. You know how Single Player Commands has //replace and how MCEdit has a Replace Block function also? Currently though, it's impossible to do percentage replacement functions on MCEdit while SPC can. For example, you have a path made of cobble and you want to mix in mossy cobble to make the road look old. Lets say, you want to convert 50% of the cobble into mossy cobble. To do that in SPC, you do //replace cobble 50%cobble,50%mossycobble. In MCEdit though, you can only do 100% replacements. If you can somehow manage to make this filter, that would be awesome! It would be perfect since it would allow map makers and builders a means to replace blocks without MC Crashing due to SPC and it would also allow map makers to add mix in new blocks/vegetation into their maps with ease.

I personally play modded. I have 2 versions set up for different purposes. One version is for regular play with Optifine being the only mod on it while the second version I set up is for developing maps by using Forge and other mods on it.
