I'm going to be building a computer..
I will be streaming/recording videos and so thats why I have a lot of memory items..If you would say I do have a lot of memory picked out.
Will these all work together, and/or be a great computer?
You don't need a sound card
You don't need a Z68 motherboard, because that's not a CPU for overclocking, which means the stock cooler is fine. Which means you don't need that cooler.
750 Watts is overkill for this setup
I would suggest re-arranging some things and try and get a 2500k. Besides that looks fine-ish, others will throw in suggestions.
You guys are really mean D: I feel bad for Emcitement now because no one except the first few gave nice answers. I don't see why all of you went out on the tangent of fixing his bad PC. It's dead, he wants to leave it like that. It's over. End of discussion. But really, don't make a big deal of out this. Specifically Lieutenant. Report him for what? Trying to fufill your demands? Did you all forget the original request? He wants a computer under $1000 that can do blah blah not scrolling back up. Why don't you just recommend him a computer instead of getting on his case for something you started. You people gave me cancer.
Because if he has a Ferrari in the garage that is broken and just needs a little work, what's the point in buying a new one? Anyway, we can be a bit mean if you are difficult. We take the time and effort to answer these threads and if you are difficult than it just hurts you and pisses us off.
To clarify we didn't know what the specs to it where until now, so that's what I mean by, "a Ferrari in the garage."
My internet slows down when someone else in my house is using the internet to watch Youtube or streaming music. Is there any way to make it so that it won't lag as much when I play games like LoL or SC2 when they are using it?
Not really, if they are online and you are online and the tubes ain't wide enough, it's going to be slow.
I posted a thread last night about a PC I am building for gaming, and since I made a few changes to the list since then I wanted to run it by here one more time before I start ordering the parts. Keep in mind that I am practically getting rid of my Xbox 360 to build a gaming computer so any advice is helpful. I made a switch to a 850W PSU from a 750W, and I added a CPU fan for overclocking purposes.
My budget is about 1500$ and this adds up to 1464.91$. My main question, is the power supply enough for what I need (Single GPU, Overclocking) and is there anything else you recommend instead of one of the parts listed.
It's more than enough, you have a pretty good rig, have fun with it. :smile.gif:
If you really want something to make a bit of a creepypasta type virus, just use this:
@echo off
title The End
color 1f
:a
echo What is your name?
pause
set input=
set /p input=input:
echo Hello, %input%.
pause
echo See that? I know your name now, %input%.
pause
echo But anyways, here's the thing I want to tell you.
pause
echo How did you find this?
set input=
set /p input2=input:
echo "%input2%?"
echo I will tell you right now; close this window. Or do you dare to keep going into this file?
pause
goto :b
:b
echo Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
goto :b
BTW, don't run this unless you want to execute an infinite loop. You will have to restart your computer if you run it.
Infinite loops don't cause you to have to restart, you can always close the window, if you do start XYZ.bat and have it on an infinite loop you will, however.
Example:
REM For shits and giggles I added an equation.
%B% = 1
:loopa
SET /A %B%+1=%B%
Start loop.bat
GOTO :loopa

Yes, this is true, but do you think an average gamer, scratch that, most everybody that uses a computer, will ever use more than 8 GB?

Neither:

This could work, I did not think of that.

Depends, if you are in a situation like mine, they would be useless because of specialized software.

I mean the original/not a tee-shirt for the hanging PEBKAC, thanks though.

Add something so you don't get bagged for image posting.

I couldn't find a better image, anyone know where there's a better one?

Blasphemous fool! The obsidian cases are the best, just kidding.
They are my favorite though.
Yeah, run it by PC part picker.
