Mu ch better than mine but with he same price becuase ur computers costs $670 and my computer costs R$1100 i think and ur price to R$ is 1153R$,that means that my computer should be much better than it's now.

What are you saying? It's a horrible deal, like others said, bad PSU, no upgrade path, a bad GPU, and overkill on the RAM.

You obviously don't work in the IT/computer field if you have ANY faith in humanity.

It's the motif shared by anyone who has worked in IT/Help Desk/Tech in general for longer than say... a month.

posted a message on Best Web Browser on the planet
    Quote from fm87

    There is no best.

    • Firefox with noscript+ABP is arguably the most secure and customizable.
    • Chrome is arguably one of the fastest with some customizability but it is also sandboxed.
    • IE (the latest one) is arguably the fastest browser but also not terribly great as a whole.
    • Safari is the most insecure browser on the planet right now, it can be exploited and give remote control in under 10 minutes and has multiple exploits that are almost 6 years old that still are not fixed.
    • Opera is for hipsters and the struggling fanboys that still use it, but it is slow and renders pages incorrectly a lot.

Use whatever, as long as you have internet street smarts you'll never get a virus or anything.

    This:

I have to use all three of the major ones for my school and I have to say it really just depends on what you plan on doing.

posted a message on Android users, I beg you! Share your knowledge!
If you are all about Social Media I suggest checking out the Windows Phone rather than the android.

Has all the social media integrated into one place so you can read it all at once, is synced with Xbox Live, has Zune which all you need to do is re-import the MP3's to Zune and I even think there is a compatibility mode with Itunes.

    Also, 500th post.

I thought maybe you saw the build before I edited it for like the 8th time to the AMD stick. I really abused the edit button on that build.

I saw both, and yeah you kinda did...

Do you think it would be worth while to spend a bit more money on a better ram stick? Even if it goes over my budget :tongue.gif:

To a point, performance wise you won't see much of a difference, but if you go with a more trust worthy brand you have less likely-hood of encountering issues.

Pretty much the best build you are gonna come across, maybe throw in a SSD, but besides that it's the best price:performance.

Okay, so my mom isn't exactly normal, at least compared to the status-quo - Anyway she is EXTREMELY techie, and keeps up with the miscellaneous internet sub-cultures.
So today she sent me this:

I know it isn't the most obscure or what ever, but still awesome.

Anyway, what I am asking is did/does anyone have parents like this that keep up with tech trends and such?
