Looks cool but, I think if you threw some iron fence in there somewhere it would look better. Also, the underground section seems pretty dull. Maybe a hallway leading to a room with a spawner?
I like this idea. It would give less "beefy" systems
more enjoyable gameplay and another option of world generation for players to use. Sounds like a great suggestion to me, support!
So, I've seen a few posts about if it was possible to have extinction mode from COD Ghosts in Minecraft. I figured it might be, but maybe not 100% of the mode. Heres what I got so far. (more explained below)
Once a hive is completed, it will give 2 points to each player in the game.
This resets all the scores in the game so you can restart.
Here's how it works. A command block tests for the hopper to be placed on the gold block. Once it is placed, a redstone clock starts. The clock adds the % to the drill. Once the drill is at 100%, the redstone clock "freezes" and the drill % is set back to 0. Pistons then block off the clocks testing for the drill to be placed.(so you can not repeat the hive after you've done it once already) Then 2 points are given to each player.
This is just a basic setup on how you could make it. You couldn't have drill health this way though.
Hey everyone! You may be wondering by what I mean by "Game Changer". Well, you may know it as a "ModBox", or vanilla "mods". Basically, this implements commands via command blocks to make the game more interesting. So, this has NO mods and can be used with VANILLA Minecraft.
There is a button on 2 sides, one to activate it, and on to deactivate. When you activate it, the time will be set to night and your difficulty will be locked on hard. As you get kills, you will get rewards. The kill milestones go in order like this: 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, and 5000 kills. Deactivating it will unlock the hard difficulty and set the time to dusk. (Morning)
After the Game Changer (GC) has been activated and deactivated once, it can be re-activated by using the command: "/scoreboard players set @a setup1 1" This will power up the GC.
When you reach 1000 kills, a quest system will begin. The first quest will be to kill 15 zombies. After that is completed, you will advance to another quest. They will become harder or longer as you complete them.
This is designed for singe player use only as of now, but I can try to improve it for multiplayer later.
I plan on making more Game Changers, but it will be a slow process. So keep an eye on this thread if you like this! You can import this into your world with MC Edit, or use the survival world save. Also, please post any problems or bugs that you find with it. You can suggest your own game changers and I miiiight make it if I think it sounds like a good idea and possible to make.

So, in the latest snapshot (13w36b) I was playing with the /summon command. I think that it is a very interesting addition to the commands, because it allows you to spawn entities.
So to get the Ender Crystal to spawn where you want, all you have to do is this:
Type:
/summon EnderCystal
It's that easy now! The command above will spawn the crystal on which coordinate your at. The dimensions of it are 3x3x3.
Now, if you type:
/summon EnderCrystal ~0 ~5 ~0
That will spawn the crystal 5 blocks above where you are standing. (~0 ~5 ~0 = ~x ~y ~z)
When you type this:
/summon EnderCrystal 153 68 305
That will spawn the EnderCrystal in the coordinates specified. (153=x, 68=y, 305=z) If you want to see the coordinates you are standing at, just press F3 and look at the left of the screen.
You can also do this with mobs, and other entities like paintings, item frames, fireballs, arrows, TNT, etc. To see what you can spawn, type "/summon", add a space and then press tab. A bunch of options should come up on what you can spawn. I do not know much about the data values so I can't tell you much about them. Hope this thread helped you guys out!

So I have been playing the 1.6 pre-release, and noticed that zombies seemed a little glitchy and laggy for some reason. I also noticed it for other mobs a little too. I honestly do not think it's my PC performance because in other snapshots this did not happen. I know they increased zombie view distance and I thought that might be why they could be a little glitchy. Is this happening to anyone else?
