    1.5GB of usable RAM?

That's about how much Windows 7 uses :tongue.gif:

You need more RAM. I would recommend a total of around 3GB. Here's 8GB of RAM for $30: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

I added another 1.5 GBs of ram. I think I have about 7.5 now. My computer can not handle 8 GBs.

BadWolf, I used to run windows 7 on a computer with 384mb or 512mb.
Guy who makes optifine says Minecraft should never need more than 250mb of ram. Press f3 ingame to see memory use information. I think high ram usage you get is Java being retarded? Anyway, the memory thing is a bug.

I use F3 all the time. Goes up to 20%, drops to 10%, goes up to 30, drops to 20, goes up to 40, drops to 30, goes up to 50 "Minecraft has run out of memory"

First plagued with long monologues, now plagued with big words on this thread. WHY JEB WHY?

I got tired of blaming Notch.

posted a message on Why Silk Touch is idiotic, and should be removed from the game.
I want silk touch to collect glass, grass, and ice. 3 things currently unobtainable. (and that makes sense!) Bookshelves are fine as they drop the amount of books needs to create another shelf anyway. You lose a few pieces of wood planks. Nothing to cry about. What if Notch adds a use for books later? Don't you want to get your books back out of your purely decorational bookshelf?

But with this no lapis, glowstone, redstone, and diamond thing, it sound like it makes the iron pick useless now.

Man I really don't think so. Why would he hire some guy to do a really long story if it's just trolling?

I'm sure he just wrote it when he was bored on his lunch break one day.

Please be trolling us Notch! PLEEEEAAAASE!

    Quote from onelastorphan

So writing down some pretty inspiring stuff is lazy? What were you expecting, a rendered video with real-time shadows and orchestral music, with your player walking into the sunset? I think the ending is fine as is. Minecraft is supposed to be an Indie game.

Just because you aren't satisfied with the ending, doesn't mean Minecraft's "ending" is terrible. It's just another section of the game, a simple message, and a great one at that.

    People need to stop complaining.

How is a bunch of useless blibbidy blech inspiring? I am not satisfied. Minecraft's ending is terrible.

The YOGScast were convinced it was fake, and who am I to go against them?

It better not be the real ending. It was just awful. I honestly never thought Minecraft would have an ending, but I even less expected it would have a bad ending. Give us something that makes us think all those structures we did meant something, not a pointless monologue that says it means something. It's some story a depressed girl wrote in middle school. It was totally just pulled out of whoever wrote it's ass.

Remove it or make something better.

posted a message on 1.9 paid?
Why would people who bought Alpha get everything for free but not Beta buyers when Beta buyers paid more to get the game?

It sounds dumb just saying it out loud. We bought the game at a higher price than before but a lower price than alter so we could play it early. It was said to be discount of the full game, so he is not legally allowed to charge until after minecraft full release is out. After that Notch could pull DLC update crap, but he won't do that.
