I can't launch Minecraft while using NEI and CCC and I need to know why.
You need to post the entire crash log. That is nowhere near enough information to help you with your crash. What version of CCC and NEI are you using? Only thing I can suggest is rolling back to Forge 1208 as a lot of people have had better success with 1208 over 1217 or 1219.
Weird. Anything in INpureProjects/deps/ should be automatically injected.
... actually, as I was typing that sentence I realized what the problem is. I need to make the classpath injection happen sooner.
I wanted to second the fact that this happens for servers, but looks like you have found the cause. Anyways thanks for the awesome mods. I found INpureCore looking for an alternative to GTFO Microblocks and saw Creeper Collateral and decided I wanted that too. Thanks again!
Ah, thanks. I just want to remove the recipes so they don't annoy me or something like that.
Then INpureCore is perfect for that. It even leaves one recipe for each type for reference and removes all of the drum clutter as well. It is a wonderful mod. I found it looking for an alternative to GTFO Microblocks from 1.6.4
How did you disable the microblocks? I just want to disable all modded Microblocks introduced in Extra Utilities, not including Vanilla ones (Ones already included with the mod), since I don't really need an 'fence uncrafting table' and whatnot.
Are you wanting to remove the recipes from NEI or disable them entirely. If you want to remove all of the recipe clutter from NEI I suggest INpureCore from denoflions. It is a dependency for Creeper Collateral but you can use it all by itself to remove NEI clutter. http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2196459
If you are trying to disable them entirely. I have not tried it to see what these lines in the config do, but they seem like they might do something along those lines..

Did a recent update break the NEI recipe handler for Tinker's crafting tables? I can shift click and overlay recipes for vanilla and applied energistics, but tinker's does nothing..
Also, I am pretty sure when achievements were added that it broke Vanilla achievements. They keep resetting every time Minecraft is reloaded.
Edit: Nevermind on the recipe handler. It must be another mod breaking that. I tried with just NEI and Tinkers installed and I was able to use the recipe handler on Tinkers Crafting Table.
Although I am confident that the achievements for Tinker's Construct are broken. With nothing but Tinkers installed, both Vanilla and Tinkers achievements are resetting for every world every time Minecraft is reloaded.
Edit Again: Okay, I finally figured out how the recipe overlay and auto placement of crafting materials is getting borked. It seems that all by itself a Tinkers Crafting table works like it should with recipes. As soon as you place a chest next to it and the inventory gets added to the Tinkers Crafting table, the recipe overlay and shift-auto crafting stops working.
pardon my asking but is there any information about when this might be expected for update to 1.8? thanks
I cannot speak directly for this mod or any of them for that matter, but based on previous experience I would not expect stable/usable builds of any of the popular mods for at least 3 months.
Quick question, So I had this installed and it disabled all tools except for my hand for gathering stuff. Is that intended?
Yes this is intended to force you into using nothing but Tinker's Construct tools and some other select mod tools. I suggest going to the OP and reading the "Features" spoiler. All of these options can be tweaked in the config files.
I was looking though and I didn't find any seeds for Dark Oak in the pack. Is this a bug or just haven't got around putting it in or is it already in just need to go through more dirt?
I can't cast any metal plates using the newest tinkers and newest forge. This has been a problem for the last several versions of TiC.
No problems here making metal plates using Forge 1217 and TiC 1.7.0-d3.1
Are you sure you are doing all the steps?
1. Use stencil table to make Large Plate Pattern.
2. Use part builder to make Stone Large Plate using Large Plate Pattern and 8 Cobblestone.
3. Place Stone Large Plate on casting table.
4. Pour 1 ingot of Aluminum Brass or 2 ingots of Gold onto Stone Large Plate to make a Large Plate Cast.
5. Pour 8 ingots of desired metal onto Large Plate Cast to make Large Plate in desired metal.
As soon as I tried to use a Wireless Receiver and Transmitter from WR-CBE for 1.7.10, it crashed. all I did was select it in my inventory, and crashed.
Thanks for getting these updated, CB!
Try upgrading NEI to 1.0.3.60 and see if you get the same crash or it fixes it.
I tried the latest NEI 1.0.3.60 with CCC 1.0.3.28 and Multipart 1.1.0.310 using Forge 10.13.1.1217 along with about 100 other mods and everything worked fine. I piddled around for about 15 minutes breaking/placing microblocks and regular blocks. Opening inventories, crafting, searching and running around. So far no problems. Keep up the great work!

Any plans to integrate NEI shift-click crafting and recipe overlays into the portable crafting bench?
Thanks!

Maybe a Lumber Axe. It is common to make a Lumber Axe with auto smelting to fell entire trees automatically cooking the logs into charcoal for fuel.

Try Java 7. Java 8 hates Minecraft especially with mods.
