    posted a message on Fog Anywhere Command Block
    Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but I thought I would share. I was messing around with potion effects and I noticed if you apply Blindness with a duration of 1 second in a super fast clock command block you can create an area that has fog.

    Effect Command
    effect @e[type=Player,r=10] 15 1 0 true

    Super Fast Command Block Clock
    summon FallingSand ~ ~1 ~ {Block:minecraft:redstone_block}

    Will cause the player to see fog all around them when they are within a 10 block radius of the command block running the effect.

    You would want to repeat this for every slot on the player's hotbar i.e.
    /testfor @p{SelectItemSlot:0b,Inventory:[{Slot:0b,id:"minecraft:torch}]}
    /testfor @p{SelectItemSlot:0b,Inventory:[{Slot:1b,id:"minecraft:torch}]}
    /testfor @p{SelectItemSlot:0b,Inventory:[{Slot:2b,id:"minecraft:torch}]}
    /testfor @p{SelectItemSlot:0b,Inventory:[{Slot:3b,id:"minecraft:torch}]}
    ...

    Go here for a solution that can reduce this to one command block to check.

    posted a message on How to Make A Rapid Firing Dispenser without Burnout in 1.7.4
    To make it even faster, connect the opposite tick of the rapid clock to the dispenser as well so you get 2x the dispensing action.

    Although I think the signals are sent faster than a dispenser can fire anyways, but works great if you just use 2 dispensers (one on each output). Also works great with speeding up command blocks for pre-1.7 minecraft. 1.7+ minecraft you can just use setblock redstone_block/air clocks or falling sand/redstone block clocks. If you have access to command blocks, this is the fastest easiest clock to make.

    summon FallingSand ~ ~1 ~ {Block:minecraft:redstone_block}

    With a firework summoning command block you get tons of rockets.

    Space Block Party

    Bring your friends or play alone on up to 4 islands in the sky in Space (eternal night). New features of 14w07a snapshot enables massive shops done easy.

    Almost every action you do earns you points which can be spent in the shop. Current point earners are mining stone, chopping trees, killing mobs, harvesting crops and much more. Shop currently has 42 items for sale ranging from a Wooden Pickaxe to God Apples. You can buy spawn eggs, ore blocks, saplings, seeds and even a beacon. More stuff to be added in future versions.

    There are 4 Space Block islands (Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Epsilon). They are all identical and each has an infinite, maintenance free and super fast cobblestone generator.

    Build your own world(s) from scratch alone or with friends. You can team up on one island or each have your own island. The possibilities are endless. A fun thing to do is to have you and your friends each take your own island and after a set period of time, you can meet up in the Space Port for royal rumble with the gear you have bought spending points earned.

    Let me know what you think. This is a first version draft. Give me suggestions, bugs, problems..

    Possible future additions will be Nether, End, Dungeons, Arenas, Custom Mobs with Custom Loot and much more.

    If you want me to continue developing this map, let me know features you would like to see and what you think about the map by posting here. Otherwise, I'll just let it die and move on to the next project.

    Feel free to post Let's Play videos. I'll add them to the main post.

    This map requires snapshot 14w07a. Failing to play the map with the at least 14w07a or higher will result in certain features of the map not working.

    posted a message on [Deep Ocean Survival v0.1 alpha] 02-12-2014
    New survival map I whipped up. The plan is to add more depending on initial interest in the map. Currently can be played as a sky-block/ocean-block survival map. Can be played on 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8 minecraft. Future versions will be only 1.8 compatible as I plan on using 1.8 only features.

    You spawn on an island surrounded by a vast 200 block deep ocean. If you can reach the bottom of the ocean, you'll find vast resources (sand, dirt, iron, gold, redstone, diamonds, obsidian).

    Story:
    You were poisoned by a witch and as you were running away you passed out. When you awoke, you were on this strange island in the middle of a vast ocean. Even stranger, it appears that time has stopped. It appears someone died here before you. Your only hope is to find a way to escape and seek revenge on the evil witch. Or you can just build your own world from the vast resources at the bottom of the ocean.

    Future plans:
    - Hidden civilizations/dungeons at the bottom of the ocean with unique loot and mobs.
    - Clues to the locations of island outposts.
    - Quest line to restart time and pursue the evil witch.
    - Customized Nether and End.

    Current objectives:
    - Make a cobblestone generator.
    - Make a farm and harvest wheat, carrots, potatoes, melon and pumpkins.
    - Make a zoo and breed cows, sheep, chicken and pigs.
    - Tame a wolf.
    - Reach the bottom of the ocean.
    - Make a mob grinder.
    - Get full diamond gear.
    - Make an enchanting table.
    - Make an anvil.
    - Make a Nether portal and go the the Nether.
    - Make a potion brewing stand.
    - Make an Ender Chest.
    - Find the hidden End portal and activate it.
    - Kill the Ender Dragon.

    Thanks for trying the map out. Sorry, the purchases for summoning items are not yet added. You get a few free ones after unlocking the room. That's my next to do. I've updated a few things since your first let's play. Feel free to open to lan and cheat back to your progress if you decide to update the map and continue your let's play. I hope to put out another update today.

    This map is good, but it's too grindy. Upgrading cobble generator would be nice. Summoning room is pretty useless, because you get same things by getting *FREE* pickaxes and steaks. Monsters summoned by flesh/bone of summoning should have like 1HP. And it would be funny if free zombie spawned in the middle of the room, not in the killing chamber. Would like to see a bigger and less grindy version of this map in the future, keep up the good work!
    P.S: The cake is a lie, I knew there was something wrong with that cake! :D

    Thanks for the feedback! Yes a little grindy. Like I said WIP, will balance things out as I add more stuff. I need to add monster drops to the shop so there is another way besides cobblestone to progress. I plan to add more mining generators/upgrades to speed up progression. Instead of mining cobble to get iron, emeralds or diamonds you could upgrade the generator to those ores. Adding new types of currency, like monster drops (bones, flesh), farm drops (wheat, carrots), crafting (armor, weapons, potions).. I'll try to get the next version out today or tomorrow.

    eh its ok(good start) but u should add more confined dungeon dweller theme

    I plan on adding alot more stuff like teleport tickets to dungeons that will set the game to Adventure mode with a "chicken out" teleport back to base or if you can reach the end of the dungeon without dying you get a great reward. Features I am testing on my testing sandbox are things like that with the ability/option to set keep inventory after dying for special events. Teleport tickets to a mob arena where you fight a boss if you win you get a reward, if you die you get teleported back to base. Teleport tickets to high reward events would cost alot and be consumed on use.

    - Added a trash can with incinerate contents of trash can button.

    UPDATE: 02-08-2014
    - Tweaked prices.
    - Added infinite ore mining room. (Currently all ores are activated. In future player will need to buy activation of each ore.)
    - Improved "More Space" room and made skylight bigger.

    I spent a few hours fleshing out a concept for my first custom survival map. Download it and try it out and let me know if this is worth adding to. I have huge plans but don't want to waste time with it if no one is interested in playing this concept. It is pretty basic right now.

    Basic premise is that you have very limited area to start with. Hence the name "Claustrophobia". Through mining/fighting and what not, you sell stuff at shop to buy items and new areas/features/upgrades for your base.

    Requires at least a 1.8 snapshot as some of the commands I am using are new to the 1.8 snapshots. It's best to use the newest snapshot available. Command blocks must be enabled.

    Need someone to test if you start out in the base. I've cleared everything I can and it tested fine for me. Let me know.

    Future features to be added:
    - New areas to buy (tiny farm, tiny village)
    - New items to buy.
    - Custom monster summons with custom rewards.
    - Mob arena with custom risk/rewards.
    - Nether and End areas.
    - Achievements.
    - Quests.
    - Tiny, Claustrophobic, Monster packed dungeons.
    - Secrets :P
    - Ultimate goal to buy way to open land.

    Thanks for trying at least. The lag is not our fault, as we've said. The islands are biomes, it's up to you to make them interesting. Just like in normal Minecraft.
    Three achievements give you awards, the ones with cracked brick surrounding them. The rest are to unlock the ultimate reward once you get them all.

    The bedrock version doesn't seem to do anything, unfortunately. Blame Mojang.

    Also need at least a 10 sec delay before teleporting player. Instant teleport gives no time to retrieve items being smelted in furnaces forcing player to micro manage smelting only one item at a time to reduce possible waiting for hours to be teleported back to where you had your last furnace.

    Block lag is unbearable. Tried to play for an hour 3rd day still block lag playing latest version. I get 300+ fps. Might try bedrock version, but probably not. Neat concept, poor execution and boringly simple islands. Maybe also give rewards for completing challenges.. Also need at least a 10 sec delay before teleporting player. Instant teleport gives no time to retrieve items being smelted in furnaces forcing player to micro manage smelting only one item at a time to reduce possible wating for hours to be telported back to where you ad your last furnace.
