I love the golem idea but heres what i think,
That there should be a "Boss" on each level is you beat him he gives you a weapon, but you can keep playing
I think it would be intersting finding and seeing bosses(at least 3)
Dragon,Giant golem, Leviathan? i think they would work
they could also have lairs and minions

I had an idea for a new game idea,
People get 5 minutes to build forts,castles,houses, etc.
Then you shut your doors and lava floods in ONLY AT A CERTAIN POINT
like in the middle
Then people build bridges, hide, attack, and pretty much try to make the others touch the lava
If you hit the lava your out and you respawn to viewing platform.
Last one standing wins
RULES:
You touch the lava you lose.
You can only build to the ceiling
You could be on a team if thats how your playing it
And i heard about your ideas there great

These days it's rare for something so simple to provide so much entertainment. Many game-making companies rely on shock factor (violence, gore, etc.), flashy graphics or gimmicky peripherals. Minecraft uses none of that, instead being a retro theme game playable with a simple mouse and keyboard. And even though blood will probably make it in with the advent of Survival mode, I've already spent hours (and I mean HOURS) in a totally family-friendly environment and managed to be entertained.
I think Minecraft has unlimited potential - that's why I paid for it, that's why I'm going to keep playing it, and that's why I'm proud to be here to witness it from the outset.
