    Well, Im not so sure how to start, so i will go straight to the point: there is a problem with updating minecraft. It always happens when new, naturally spawning blocks are implemented. Take this for example: Me and some friends are in our own little server, in one specific world, having fun creating epic structures (in survival). Next day we hear about a new update, bringing new ores, new structures (for example), and new blocks (Granite, Andesite, and Deorite). Now while that is cool, there is one specific thing we do not like: we can't get them in our world. We have to start a new wold so that the world generator could implement them in the terrain, and basically throwing away our old creations.

    What I am asking for is a world-updater. A sort of new feature that will generate these blocks in our existing world, so that we wouldn't have to start a new world to build with these minerals. I am asking that the world updater only update ores and such, not implement entire new biomes in a world: that would be too complicated.

    So, what do you think?

    Well, that wouldnt be exactly my original idea. it might work, but maybe not.

    Still, you made me think. an ender chest: Its perfect for my idea!

    what if you have this super special chest that you can access from anywhere; from placing more of those chests, to a tab in the creative inventory. This sounds like the ender-chest, but heres the good part: that inventory can be accesed from any save file created.

    True, true, and thanks. But normally in servers, you can disable command blocks. You still have a point. This could be fixed by a sort of
    "white-list" for this creative inventory section, that blocks specific items.

    I just want to ask and suggest somthing. Every time I go in creative mode, I use commands to enchant some armor and weapons I will use. I want a way to save these enchanted items into maybe a custom-items section in the creative inventory, so I won't have to enchant from save file to save file. It's like an inventory section that you add items and appears every time you start a new creative file, or join a creative server. Thanks!
