Its not working for me at all, as in I install it. EI copy the class files into the jar, run the game click a region and nothing happens at all. No error, no crash, no box, only word edit telling me I have selected point one which is normal.

You could always start small, we have way more than 12 people that play but between schedules and timezones, everyone that wants to be can be online. Maybe after you do that you'll have someone come on as a partner. If they pay half you could double the size to the point where you have a large enough player group to ask for donations.

We have plenty of players, 20-30 on peak hours, 3-5 on non peak.

Agreed, I propositioned the same thing, but also admin tools like x-ray, fullbright. Difference being it tells other moderators/admins when they use such features to keep them honest.

Yeah, I see. The server I am with, which I moderate has all these ideas put into place. Except the paypal part. We have paypal, but direct bank to bank transfers seems a bit iffy. Anyway, the biggest problem I think is most of our players are in the 13-15 demographic and have no income or control over there spending. $20 to someone working a part time job isn't much, to a 13-15 year old its like what we would see a full days pay as.

Anyone have tips for advertising to older demographics? I am 20 and the oldest person on the server so far as I can tell.

I need a client that has features like x-ray, chest finder, Player finder, full bright ect. That is simple enough but I need it to be open, IE say when someone is using it to other admins and mods.

So say I turn full bright on it will broadcast a message to other people with the see notification node.

Admin: *Name* Is using Fullbright.
Or Admin: Name has stopped using X-ray.

I am a mod on this server, and mods play legitimately but at times will go invisible and check on players to prevent duping and x-ray. But it can be hard to find hidden chests, seeing x-rayers going straight for diamond ect.

I could use Nodus but then the players may not trust mods.

Is this kind of thing available anywhere else? Is there anyone upto making this mod? I am not a java coder so is this even possible? I am presuming having a plugin that allows the client to hook into the server like spoutcraft will work.

Suggestion: With auto tool selection can we have it to sort by durability so use the ones with lower durability over higher, or higher over lower? Thanks

Read the policy change on "Cheats" Such things are allowed on this forum.

I have made servers before,but hosted it on a PC. Although the PC was very good, *quadcore i5, 8gb ram* my internet is lacking "Being in australia" I thought if moving it to a hosting server. But it was way too expensive, I have a job but even then it is not enough. What ways have you, or would you monetize your server to gain enough revenue to pay the server bills?

I prefer answers of actual things you have done and that worked, but suggestions are nice aslong as you state them as just suggestions.

I know there are donations but just how reliable is that? How generous are people?

Not a client, its a mod. I see no jar in this. Secondly, NEI or TMI is classed as a hack. Using glitches like bud switches is also classed as misuse of a glitch. Though yes this is a copypasta and such exploits should not be posted. But please for the love of god at-least use the correct definitions.

When I try to install this, my game runs, I can get a world but the mod just doesn't run like it was never installed. My mods are.

Anyideas? Again there are not crash reports to log. The game works fine, the mod doesn't I can't play MC without this mod.

What the hell are you on about? You realise taking large quantities of meth is not good for your mind.

Normally I would be against things like elevators, but with the new height limit, moving upwards is now so much harder and going up spiral staircases leaves you disorientated and queasy.

And before you go "You can do it with pistons durr" 1. Pistons are fidgety and take up heaps of room and 2. There noisy as hell. There is a reason we do not use pisons to push elevators in real life, we use cable and winches.

Its not a completely unreasonable request as the romans had elevators so unlike people requesting notch add laser guns, it has some sense in it.

And please for the love of god, do not say. Oh there is a mod for that. Yes I know there is a mod for that, but how many servers use said mod? 1 or 2 that are probably exclusive and have a ping of a million so shoosh.

Have you ever tried convincing anyone on a server to do anything? Unless your a close knit group or you have admin authority. No one listens to what you say. And there is always one asshat that will never log off or is AFK.
