    Malkierian, i've added:
    - name: world_nether
    title: Nether
    maps:
to worlds config, but it didn't change anything!

Is world_nether defined ANYWHERE else in that config? If so, comment it out with # in front of each line.

Can we get any info / help on this?

It may be the fact that it IS a vanilla server. I just ran it with MCPC and I'm opped and still visible on login. Though I guess that would technically be a bug.

I did extract the .zip file to the /plugins folder. I got the /plugins/dynmap and also /plugins/mods folder upon extracting it(this was the case the whole time). Digging through the folders, in the /plugins/mods folder i see another .zip file named 'Dynmap-1.6.zip'. Looking at that I see that it contains the same thing that is in the /plugins/mods folder.

Dynmap shows up when i do /plugins on the console, but none of the commands work, and I can't access it via my ip address:port number.

Plugins is not the root of your server. The root of your server is where you find your plugins folder. There should also be a mods folder there. And a coremods folder. Wherever those last two are is where you need to extract the full mod.

How to put off The End and Nether maps?

Go to your worlds.txt, find the area under "To just label world, and inherit rest from template, just provide name and title", and put down the world name, the world title, and an empty maps: tag, like so:
      - name: world_nether
        title: Nether
        maps:

Make sure you're using spaces, not tabs.

I have a server that I am running FTB Ultimate. It has Forge obviously, but also MCplus that runs Essentials and World Edit. I am trying to use Dynmap on the server now. From the Dynmap page on planetminecraft, I downloaded the correct version(1.4.7), extracted the zip to the plugins folder, and then started the server.

That's the reason why. You need to extract the archive downloaded for Forge and MCPC+ into the root of your server.

I was unaware that MCPC was "Forge with a Bukkit wrapper" so excuse me for not digging into it. When I hear "For Forge" I think... It's not Forge, it's MCPC. Especially since it says in the list "For Bukkit, MCPC (and some other thing)" then there is another section that says "For Forge"...

You're reading the entire OP wrong. It clearly says for Forge, MCPC, and then for Bukkit, Tekkit.

    Spout Server v1.4.7: DynmapSpout v1.5 - [Adfly]

It's been that way since I first looked at this thread a few days ago.

However, I'm glad you got it figured out, though it seems odd you couldn't use the default port...

What bridge? No one said there was another download I needed...
My server host provides MCPC+ for me, this is not a home hosted server...
All my bukkit plugins are working just fine, is that's the concern. It's only the dynmap that refuses to..

My point is that you say you downloaded the one for MCPC+, not Forge, as if they were different. They're not. You need to follow the instructions for installing on Forge, and make sure you're using the right version (latest MCPC+ release is still 1.4.7). The archive you download for the Forge/MCPC version has two folders in it. One called dynmap, one called mods. Those are supposed to be in your server root. So, the dynmap folder ends up in server root and the .zip is in the server's mods folder. I just ran MCPC+ release and dynmap for 1.4.7, and it runs just fine.

I have dynmap setup on a Vanilla Minecraft server and its working fine with default settings. However I cannot see an player locations for the 2 people that use the server. The legend shows 2/2 players but they do not show up on the actual map even after using the show command. Both players are OPs and nothing else has been changed from defaults. Is there a Client side plugin/mod we need or a server side config we missed?

    Thanks!

Are these OPs underground? They won't show up if they are. No one will. Try deopping them, as well, if they're on the surface and still not showing.

    >< I've tried both!!!! I've been told root folder, plugins folder, mod folder... Nothing seems to be working! I've put everything that WAS in the zip's mod folder into my server's mod folder....

Where do I put the other damn folder!? Nothing I am trying is working, nothing I am being told is working! I am getting very angry here...

OK, so wait. Did you download the "Bukkit API Bridge for MCPC+"?

Well that didn't work. I put it in the base directory for my server and nothing changed.... dynmap 1.6 zip is in my mods folder where it should be... And the dynmap folder should be the same location that mods folder is?
Cause that didnt' do a thing. I then moved the dynmap folder into the config folder, that didn't do a thing either....

I installed the version listed for MCPC+, NOT forge, because I am using MCPC not forge...
    What's going on here!?

Of course putting it in the server root didn't do anything. Nothing loads from there except the server itself. Either you have to put it in the mods folder, or you have to put it in the plugins folder. Not at the same level as those.

Alright, so I'm having that "Web files are not matched with plugin version" problem on my Bukkit server. I've already cleared my browser's cache a dozen times, while also downloading and unzipping 3 different versions of dynmap (1.7, 1.6, and then reverting back to 1.6 alpha 3, which is what I had before doing the other two) and installing it while the server is offline and I get this notification almost every time. Only reverting actually made it go away and allowed dynmap to start functioning again. Why is it doing this? Why can't I update?

So you've been using the beta builds? Did you try deleting your world/FEData folder? And then did you try deleting the ForgeEssentials folder?

No beta builds work for me .-.
Have you guys been having any luck with them?
#58 works but it has no modules
    Sooooooooooooo.........

#58? What version of Minecraft are you running? #58 on the main betabuilds Jenkins is for 1.5.1. The 1.4.7 betabuilds don't even have a #58 yet.

Ok, you can all stop snickering behind my back now, I found out what's wrong...

Just because a member registers with /auth does NOT put them in the "Members" group, they are still in the "guests" group, finally found that out by trying all the arguments to commands...

really should be mentioned in the documentation, usually when someone registers with a site they are a member, so....

I don't know if anyone was snickering behind your back, but that's not exactly unexpected behavior. The auth module is completely different from the permissions module. Auth only allows you to have a registration system on your server in case the Minecraft servers go down. Registering with Auth only gives that player their personal login password for your server. Has nothing to do with permissions ranks.

So, they helped me out on the other forum by having me increase my memory limit. Fixed the crashing issue. Also, here's an example of what it does with caustic explosions:

This brings back SOOOOOO many memories.

Huh, that looks like that's what's supposed to be happening, if the vanilla explosions were working. I may have suggest people download that to get this result I'm wanting.
