Add a config file to change individual damage values. Modded "iron" swords doing more damage than vanilla "iron" is silly.

Pretty simple really, just play a sound whenever it changes to sunrise/dawn/morning (whatever minecraft internally calls it when it becomes "day") and a different sound when it changes to sunset/dusk/night (ditto).
This is mostly for an adventure map, so it won't need to be too detailed. Optional stuff like "sound doesn't play if below certain height" isn't needed but not unwelcome.

The fragile glass mod doesn't work because things break the instant you meet the conditions (such as sprinting or landing) and thus a path made of that mod cannot be traversed.
Bump, I suppose. If computer programming wasn't so arcane I'd do it myself but alas I have the stupid.

If this doesn't exist already, could someone make a mod where blocks will get "mined" when a player walks on them until they break. The mining doesn't stop when the player is off the block. Also, the block should return after some time.
Alternatively, have the blocks that get walked on, fall down after a few seconds. When they hit another solid block (or fall a certain distance) they vanish and eventually respawn at the original position.
I primarily want only square/regular blocks and slabs to be affected, not any other thing. If making a custom block would be easy for this, even better. Otherwise, affecting vanilla blocks and slabs is also okay. If possible to select mod blocks, even better!
The configurable options (in a .cfg file) should be:
List of blocks that are affected
Crumbling duration (or time until block falls, if they fall instead of crumble)
Time until block respawns (Alternatively: Distance player must move away before the block respawns)
