Here's another update, and what an update it is! This update brings us one small step closer to total completion and one giant leap towards completion of the 'Building Blocks' category.
Rugged & Refined is my attempt to make a semi-realism pack, while still sticking very closely to the style and feel of the default textures. Make no mistake, this isn't another 'Default 32x(64x)(2048x)' pack; instead, this is a reimagining of the default textures themselves.

I had the idea for a mod which brings a new dungeon-esque exploration mechanic to minecraft in the form of nightmares, and it would be something like this:
There's a craftable block that acts as a trigger of sorts, most likely constructed from nether materials.
When the player (called Steve from here onward) wishes to enter the nightmare world, he must sleep in a bed that is placed on 2 of the trigger block.
[An alternative could be a differently-crafted type of 'nightmare bed']
Next to the bed, a special chest crafted from similar materials to the trigger/bed would have to be placed. This chest would have 4 rows of inventory to match steve's inventory & hotbar space.
One key aspect of the nightmare world is that inventories would be separate between it and the real world, besides one exception that will be explained later in the post.
The nightmare world would be a deliberately built set of dungeons, with varying levels of difficulty.
There would be unique loot in each nightmare dungeon, not found in any other dungeon or in the real world.
Steve would be kicked from the nightmare world and wake up if one of three things happens: Sunrise, Death, or reaching the end of the dungeon.
At the end of the dungeon, an item (an amulet comes to mind) would both wake steve up and allow him to bring the unique loot into the real world. Steve's nightmare-world inventory would be deposited in the special chest upon waking up if the amulet is recovered.
New nightmare dungeons can only be accessed once the amulet has been received in the previous one. Dungeons cannot be revisited and, because of this, Steve should be wary to search for all the unique loot in a dungeon before retrieving the amulet.
Hey everyone, it's been a while. As you can see, I'm stopping work on this while I develop my new 1.8 resource pack called "Rugged & Refined". Whereas with MajorCraft I wanted a cartooney look, R&R is to be a more subdued, rpg-ish pack. Progress images for R&R can be found HERE
Here's the thing; I've had an idea for a mod I've always wanted to make for the longest time, but in recent months (after many a failed attempt) I realized that I have absolutely no talent for coding as of yet. I've even gone so far as to make textures for the mod, with nothing to do with them. If anyone has some experience coding mods and is willing to collaborate on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
The mod would contain the following as of now:
1 Ore
4 Toolsets
Multiple Items specifically for crafting
2 Blocks for processing the new ore
A 'Blast shield' esque block
A new explosive ( TNT with certain new properties)
I understand that people coming on here essentially asking someone to make a mod for them is generally looked down upon, but please consider the fact that I've tried for quite some time with no success.
Please PM me if you're willing to help.
In the finished mod, whoever chooses to help will get full credit for coding. I will only credit myself for the textures and ideas.
New to 1.2, ClusterCraft has been updated to the newest Thermal Expansion 3 beta, and now includes a couple mods from the awesome iChun, Shatter (Which adds a very nice-looking death animation to all living entities) and Torched!

I know, I know. There are a lot of modpacks out there nowadays, what with the FTB, and the Technic, and the ATLauncher, and the hippin' hoppin' zip zop zoobidy bop! So what makes ClusterCraft different? Frankly... nothing. It's a random assortment of mods I thought should be in a pack together. I figured i may as well share it with the community in case someone out there shares the same taste in mods and is too lazy to compile their own private pack. I got perms from the authors of every mod in here, so no problems of that sort. Hey guys! I'm sorry for the delay, things may be VERY slow for a bit. But here it is, the 1.7 update! I finished about half of the mobs, podzol, stained glass, the two new trees (and their planks), some GUI, and a couple other things I probably don't remember! Stick with me, this will be finished someday XD Oh, and if you watched Pete's review, you'll see that he had a... minor quarrel with the square cobblestone design. Behold the circular cobblestone! Let me know if you want the original square cobblestone available as an alternate texture. And as always, if you have input or ideas that could improve the MajorCraft experience, just give me a shoutout on this thread or in a review and I'll be all over it! (If I agree with it that is... :P)
