Because it's such a high resolution texture pack, Minecraft will freeze for a bit, but it should fix itself momentarily. No idea why it would still be freezing once you've removed the texture pack though.
I know this can be done easily with NBTedit or SethBling's filter for MCEdit, but I would love to be able to do this in vanilla. Or is this going to be like player heads and remain accessible only through an external editor?
Those of you having error reports, you probably don't have enough RAM allocated for Minecraft to use and your computer can't handle running a texture pack that high quality. There should be a tutorial in the beginning of the thread that explains how to fix this.
Is there a way of getting obsidian? After the mooshroom, you can get practically anything in the shops using buckets. This kinda ruins the plot. You shouldn't be able to get cows and mooshrooms. After 5 mins with the mooshroom, I got about 50 emerald blocks.
Ideally, it takes you awhile to afford to buy a cow, and then after that it's pretty much smooth sailing due to how easy it is to buy buckets, milk cows, sell milk, buy more buckets. However, the fact that you can get one of the mooshrooms with minimal effort and no trading means you can essentially have a cow for free if you want to shear your mooshroom. This sort of feels like cheating to me, but of course it's up to the player what he or she wants to do.
EDIT: I forgot mooshrooms can be milked without shearing them, so my above point is moot, though I do feel like you should have to work to get enough money to buy a cow and start making milk. Getting milk for free does sort of break the economy.
Oh, I found another error. The guy that sells armor sells Iron Boots twice, for two different prices, and does not sell Iron Leggings. Still, I love this map. Most fun I've had in Minecraft in ages.
I wish this texture pack were the Minecraft default. It's the most detailed and gorgeous 16x pack I've ever seen. I used to always use at minimum 32x packs because I could never find a 16x pack that didn't seem messy, but this one changed my tune.
This is absolutely one of my favorite 32x packs, if not my number one. Depending on the map and current style of play, I switch between this pack, SMP Revival, and Sphax's pack. I especially love the tengu villagers.
Dumb question, but are you allowed to cut the grass in the town to get more seeds? Not that you need more, but I was just curious.
Also, is it intentional that the vendors in the treehouse will buy cobblestone and wood from you? I got most of my early emeralds that way after I cleared out my property of debris. It must be, but that was a nice surprise.
Love this map! The hidden chests are great! Though I've found some fairly close together.
Did you intend for the Sprite vendor to trade Jack o' Lanterns rather than pumpkins? I bought one without realizing, expecting to be able to get seeds from it.
In terms of replayability, I have a suggestion for the hawker quest:
Unless one were to pretend they don't know where to plant the magic bean so they actually have to go through the hawker quest, it's really easy to get the mooshroom/golden eggs if you know where to place the lever. I'd suggest instead of using a lever, using a redstone torch or something and not having redstone dust in the dungeon (so you would HAVE to get the torch from the hawker, because you can't make your own through normal play on the map).
Of course I guess once you've gotten all the chests, you would know where they were, so there's a little less replayability in that regard since that element of surprise is gone. But I still think the hawker quest should be necessary if you want its rewards. Otherwise, you can go do it right off the bat if you know what to do.
Just a thought, Xie, as I don't know what if anything you plan on doing with your hunger mod now that hunger is in the game for real-real. XD
I would love it if hunger actually worked on peaceful. Sometimes I like to play sort of a Harvest Moon style game, where I don't want monsters, but would still like the threat of starvation. If you could make it so hunger works on peaceful, that would be amazing. :smile.gif:
I found it since a couple of weeks ago and today i want to share it :
The sheep bug, i wonder if the pig is experiencing this bug too.
I don't know why the pig would experience the same bug, considering the only reason the sheep looks like that is because you can see its black body underneath the wool in the back.
Oh, I see what you mean. The texture in the back is upside down. But no, the pig isn't having the same problem. :smile.gif:

I have this issue occasionally. Just exiting the game and restarting generally seems to fix it, but I have no idea what might be causing it.
EDIT: Sorry for the double post. It won't let me delete and merge my posts for some reason. D:

Actually, maybe I was wrong about the pig. Sphax, I think animals have upside down butts.

It wasn't out when he posted. =/ He was the first post, and that was back in June when Sphax was still working on it. Use your head.
