From this Poll, we can clearly see that what most people would prefer as their Roleplay' s world is Medieval fantasy style, with dragons and magic, which apparently is the one that started the whole Roleplay genre 40 years ago.

The daily poll for today is:

• All players start with their bare hands as a weapon, and obtain more weapons as they proceed through the Roleplay.

• Magic is not allowed, even though this Roleplay has dragons and other mythical creatures, so keep everything realistic (no fireball hurling, homing, etc).

• You are not allowed to make any character who is similar to or is related with mythical heroes, like Merlin, Arthur, etc.

• You are not allowed to use magic freely. When you make a mage character, write down up to 4 simple spells (conjure arrow, spray acid, tie rope, hover, etc) that your character can use at the beginning of their adventure.

How do you feel about Zombie Roleplays?

• They ROCK! Shootin' zombies is what I like to do on that Roleplays!
• I like their concept, but I don' t join the ones that are all about shooting. I prefer deeper survival elements and more emphasis on character' s personality development and one other' s relations.
• I maintain a neutral stance against them.
• I dislike them, but I may join one occasionally if I like the way it works and the way it develops.
• I hate them, I don' t even bother checking Roleplays whenever I see "zombies" into their title.
• The first thing I do when I see one is to take a stale tomato and make sure not to miss it' s title on my computer screen.

So it' s dead? I thought it would be resurrected, but probably you' re right, after all it' s been a long time since it last was active.
I saw Your Town recently too, but I didn' t add it just because it still is quite new, but I' m interested in seeing how it will evovle. Don' t rule out the possibility of seeing it featured a couple of weeks later - it might happen :P. As for your last question, no, OOC threads don' t count, the RP takes place in the IC, the OOC is what I like to call "backstages", so probably not.

After watching some Minecraft Spotlights, an idea came into my mind - what if a thread was made by Roleplayers where Roleplays would be showcased once in a while, like Minecraft stuff in MC Spotlights? Also, apart from showcasing Roleplays, we could also run some polls covering various topics - from what is your favorite kind of roleplay to what name would you give to your next character. This is just a suggestion about a megathread that could be ran by players, since from what I see there' s little moderation over here. I' d like to hear your feedback, your opinions and suggestions.

It's like waving a knife around and then stabbing yourself as punishment because waving a knife around is dangerous. Depression is purely the loss of hope to the point where it hinders your ability to make actual logical decisions, which would solve the problem in the first place.

The word depression has been heavily bastardized. It is now used to say "I feel sad". This is not the same as what depression truly is, and your usage of the phrase "whiny butt" proves you don't understand this delineation to begin with. There is also a difference between being depressed, and feeling depressed.

I see you haven't experienced it. Or you have and you're trying to alienate yourself from it, but I doubt the latter. Depression is a distortion of what is seen as standard logic in some lights. At some points you feel nothing and your eyes take in colorless, meaningless pictures. Sometimes it is intense. Things that make others smile drive a stake through your gut and your skull. Things others take for granted are alien. Others seem hollow and alien, a facet of existence has been stripped away, all is lost and nothing remains. One is disembodied. there is no more fight, there is no blood left to lose in the endless battle. Your heart has stopped pumping but your blood is still alive. And you eyes wake up, but your brain is sleeping fine.

Sometimes you're forced into a state of irritation and become defensive because everything seems assaulting. like an animal with it's back to the wall, ironically, surrounded by vicious beasts in their own right.

Though that is only one type. And one drip in an endless bucket. "Being" depression is much different. It is intricately woven. It distorts all angles and all manners of sight, or perhaps it makes them clear again. And you keep going, endlessly, though you know you're on a sinking ship. Depression is not a mental illness, it is just a facet of existence, and another angle of reality to be experienced at different times. I have had some form of depression since my earliest memories. It is scattered, on and off, but it took a good deal of my life to realize what I was feeling and why. In fact, I never used the phrase "I feel" once in my life until I was around 18, and being forced to interact with others heavily. The words simply had no meaning prior. I said to myself "I feel sad. I feel cluttered. I feel stifled. I only feel alone when I'm with others. I feel wrong, here, in this place."

And then I ceased interacting, and all was as it should be. All was as it was once, and always had been. We all just simply have to listen to our own body and mind's signals and do things how we want them done, on our own terms. This is why I think population pressure is a negative thing, it disallows that. I firmly believe insanity cannot exist alone, people are driven to it by the presence of others.

User A makes a list. Does not include User B.
User B makes a list. Includes User A.
User A adds user B to their list.
User C comes along and adds Users A and B to their list.
User A and B add User C to their list.
User D comes in and flaunts their e-peen around
User E just says they love everyone
User F complains about how unloved they are
User G adds all of the above to their list, User F goes all "nawww tyyyyy <3333" and every other bloody person edits their list to include them

Anyway my list has thinned down to Corvo and... Yeah that's it I only love Corvo anymore.
