posted a message on The Roleplaying Showcase Thread
This could have turned out better :P

It' s here! After a quiet successful idea thread, I finally decided to roll the first Roleplaying Section Showcase Thread, where all forum Roleplaying content has a chance to get featured once in a while! Remember, all longer term features demand YOUR opinion, so don' t forget to participate in polls, uprate and subscribe to keep up with everything new! Check the Updates section for every day' s updates!

    This thread features:
    -Daily Polls!
    -Weekly Polls!
    -Feature of the Day!
    -Feature of the Week!
    ...and many more coming soon!

    Current thread status:

    (ALMOST) RUNNING!

-VOTE FOR THE ROLEPLAY YOU BELIEVE SHOULD BE FEATURED ON THE FEATURE OF THE WEEK SECTION!
-THIS THREAD IS STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT! CHECK BACK ONCE IN A WHILE FOR UPDATES!

Sadly, we have no feature for this day, check back tomorrow for updates!

The Feature of the Week section will start being updated with the beginning of the new week, at Monday, 9th of April! (GMT +0.00 Greenwitch). Vote for the Roleplay you would prefer to see featured above the thread!

Results of yesterday' s poll, in descending order of # of people voted for.'

If you made a Roleplay right now, what would it be about?
    1. (8 votes [61.54%]) Medieval-style, with dragon wrestilng and messing around with magic.
    2. (3 votes [23.08%]) Steampunk style, where all players race into a scraptown with scrap vehicles, using adulterated fuel that create a hell of fumes. Greenhouse' s best friend.
    3. (2 votes [15.38%]) Political style, where players can roleplay their inner corrupted politician.
    4. (0 votes [0.00%]) Futuristic Survival style, where 3 headed mutants charge players running on 3 feet.
From this Poll, we can clearly see that what most people would prefer as their Roleplay' s world is Medieval fantasy style, with dragons and magic, which apparently is the one that started the whole Roleplay genre 40 years ago.

The daily poll for today is:

Which of the following rules would you prefer to apply to your Medieval Fantasy Roleplay if you had to pick one of them?
    • All players start with their bare hands as a weapon, and obtain more weapons as they proceed through the Roleplay.
    • Magic is not allowed, even though this Roleplay has dragons and other mythical creatures, so keep everything realistic (no fireball hurling, homing, etc).
    • You are not allowed to make any character who is similar to or is related with mythical heroes, like Merlin, Arthur, etc.
    • You are not allowed to use magic freely. When you make a mage character, write down up to 4 simple spells (conjure arrow, spray acid, tie rope, hover, etc) that your character can use at the beginning of their adventure.
That' s it for today' s poll, view the poll results here tomorrow!

...Aaand the Weekly Poll! This is the first Weekly Poll update since having started the thread, so I' m looking forward to see how will it turn out and what would people' s thoughts be! Ok, and this week' s question is:

How do you feel about Zombie Roleplays?
    • They ROCK! Shootin' zombies is what I like to do on that Roleplays!
    • I like their concept, but I don' t join the ones that are all about shooting. I prefer deeper survival elements and more emphasis on character' s personality development and one other' s relations.
    • I maintain a neutral stance against them.
    • I dislike them, but I may join one occasionally if I like the way it works and the way it develops.
    • I hate them, I don' t even bother checking Roleplays whenever I see "zombies" into their title.
    • The first thing I do when I see one is to take a stale tomato and make sure not to miss it' s title on my computer screen.
That' s the weekly poll! The next weekly poll will be posted on Saturday, 14 of April (GMT +0.00). Check back this section every Saturday to see the poll results!

And today' s feature is... a character! Wait... um, it' s not just a character but instead... an entire tribe!
I guess most of you have already guessed that the Roleplay I' m talking about and the Roleplay that tribe is played in is the Civillization RP: Planet Nesodia. Without further addo (am I spelling this right? :P ) let me introduce you, the Keyrsecuh Tribe(s), played by AverageJoe18!

Being one of the most successful RPs around the forums, Civillization RP: Planet Nesodia has gathered quite a big amount of Roleplayers and has had a lot of success, but we aren' t featuring the Roleplay itself here, we are feauring a race of it! The Keyrsecuh tribe has been around the roleplay for some time, and has went through some greatly detailed and fully illustrated development and progress! AverageJoe18, one of the most know RPers is currently doing a great job keeping everything running, keeping up with the latest events even when offline for quite a long time and being a fair player (obvious for most well-known RPers :P )! The tribe itself has undergone a great way to it' s current status, and Joe seems ready to keep up with the events and continue his tribe' s story!

As for the rest of the people who might feel a bit dissapointed, don' t be worried! This section is updated every day, so you have a high chance to get featured here, and trust me, most of you will get featured in time. Keep up the good work fellas!

    Okay, voted.

Also, why Marika Island or HI3? Those are being necro'd, always revived by some roleplayer. But seriously, Precipice of War is one of the most active roleplays so far. Same to Nesodia, Return to Civilization Island.

Daily feature, hm, I'm counting on "Green-X Studios", but who knows about Your Town?

    (Also, does OOC thread counts?)

So it' s dead? I thought it would be resurrected, but probably you' re right, after all it' s been a long time since it last was active.
I saw Your Town recently too, but I didn' t add it just because it still is quite new, but I' m interested in seeing how it will evovle. Don' t rule out the possibility of seeing it featured a couple of weeks later - it might happen :P. As for your last question, no, OOC threads don' t count, the RP takes place in the IC, the OOC is what I like to call "backstages", so probably not.

posted a message on Roleplaying Spotlights Suggestion Thread
After watching some Minecraft Spotlights, an idea came into my mind - what if a thread was made by Roleplayers where Roleplays would be showcased once in a while, like Minecraft stuff in MC Spotlights? Also, apart from showcasing Roleplays, we could also run some polls covering various topics - from what is your favorite kind of roleplay to what name would you give to your next character. This is just a suggestion about a megathread that could be ran by players, since from what I see there' s little moderation over here. I' d like to hear your feedback, your opinions and suggestions.
