    While there's talk of collaborations and things, I propose a challenge.
    It's the 'Alpha Pack Challenge.' It'll be very fast, because all you have to texture is the terrain.png for the last version of Minecraft Alpha. It's simple. Pixel art only, everyone submits a palette and we work from there. A shortish time limit so that it doesn't drag on too long, and a friendly competition. Thoughts?

    I'm actually up for this and wouldnt mind competing with others.

    You mean a pack by a group of people with completely different styles, resolutions and texturing abilities that will have very little visible theme due to the amount of variance in quality and appearance between members?

    Sure, I'm game.

    I can adapt to certain peoples styles. But yeah that. Or we could just group up people with similar styles.

    Dont worry Im still here. I've just been busy with my own texture pack. Heres the new haybale, acacia planks (vertical), acacia log, and dark oak planks. The hardest part is getting the style and colors to blend well with her overall pack. But trust me, it all looks nice together. :)

    Rosebushes! I've been working on these the past few days. They were surprisingly tedious with the thorns and shading... A nice thorny tendril plant... with roses. 4 random variants.

    Sorry if this is somehow a double post. I am sure i posted this here yesterday, but i can't find it anywhere, so i'm assuming i forgot to hit the post button.

    Its not a double post but I do remember seeing them. Where did it go?

    But it is my art. I took stock photos that I either paid for or got granted usage by the creators, and I edited it, making it my own. By your logic, unless you created the programs such as Gimp and Photoshop, you didn't do all the work you claim to do, as you use said program to help you. But I digress.

    That makes no sense. Stock photos and programs are completely different things.

    Odd question: do you mind if I kind of take strong inspiration from your chests in making mine? Mine are 64x64, so I will need to add a lot of my own creativity to fit a large canvas, but I very much like the style of your chests, so I thought it would make a good base for me to start mine from.

    Yeah man go ahead!

    And do you guys critique skins too?

    Could someone please help me out here? How would I get the tops of my CTM bookshelves to have their own horizontal CTM? Here's my current properties file (labeled bookshelfTop.properties):

    faces=top bottom
    tiles=4,5,6,7
    matchBlocks=47
    method=horizontal

    Horizontal ctm only works for sides unless you do the full ctm method.

    @Goodlyay: I agree with 13th, remove the roots.

    I made something similar a couple of weeks ago, I guess it's easier to draw it in 32x. This fern however only works in it's natural biome. If someone started bonemealing ferns in the jungle it would look rather... peculiar.. In that aspect, your fern could work in most biomes while still partially looking like a mini evergreen.

    Well theres always biome-specific ctm. Would love to see what you'd do.
