The way how apples were implemented as a rare leaf drop.
It just feels unfinished and shoddy. I wish the devs had instead just taken the time to code in a new type of tree that required time to grow them.
Guys, quit flaming each other. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, whether you agree with it or not.
I happen to think hunger was one of the better additions made. It allowed food to be stackable, it stopped you from being quite as invincible, and it allowed a balanced version of sprinting in the game. If there was also one thing I hated, it was taking random fall damage and having my health be less than full because of it. The passive regeneration is nice. Also, food got even easier to obtain, so this really isn't too much of a hindrance for the benefits it provides.
Pistons are awesome. Villages are becoming more awesome. The End still sucks.
Although there is one thing I'd like to say.
I'm so glad that the hunger update got rid of instant health regeneration. I was pissed whenever my lava trap failed because someone just spammed cooked porkchops and got out alive.
It really depends on the world you have. Everything greatly varies, but in general diamonds are pretty rare and you are probably going to find 4-6 an hour for spelunking. Some areas, you're not going to find anything and others will be fairly dense. At least, that's my rate since I skip most of the coal and iron, usually only mining what I can easily get to.
A good idea would be to find enough diamonds to make an enchanting table, then enchant an iron pickaxe to get Fortune, and save that picaxe for diamond ores.
Also, finding an subterran ravine or a really deep mineshaft really helps.
Branch and strip mining are really boring. You're probably better off just cave spelunking, unless you're absolutely sure you've explored everything.

It's supposed to be harder, hence the name, "A true END fight."

I didn't even know they changed that, I've just been using shift like I always have been.

And I actually had remembered to bring my fortune III pickaxe.

Just everything. Even the basement.

I've been playing for months and yet I still play like a complete newb, except in building.
