Why so complicated? Just make it so it delays 1 second, and can be toggled to up to 5, 30, and 60.

Because some people need very specific timing for their mechanisms, that would actually complicate it even more.

Don't explosions blow out fire in this game? Regardless, good idea.

Preexisting fire sure, but keep in mind that fire is technically a block and would be placed after the explosion.

You don't have to refill it, you only add redstone and quartz to increase the maximum delay. If you give it 64 redstone dust and 16 quartz, you'll be able to make a delay of 64 ticks, permanently. Then, if you later need to increase the delay, just add more redstone and quartz. Adding 8 more redstone and 2 more quartz would increase the maximum delay to 72 ticks. And if you ever need the redstone and quartz back, just break the delayer and the redstone and quartz contained inside will drop with it.

Oh, completely misunderstood the post. Thought they were consumed. Support!

I don't like the idea of having to refill a redstone contraption with resources just so it can work. Instead, consider making the recipe more expensive. No support.

    posted a message on Magic

Everyone wants Magic in Minecraft. It's easy. To cast magic spells, you need to collect Tablets. Tablets can be found by killing mobs or through Tabletcrafting. I'll get to that in a bit.

Here are the different kinds of tablets.

    Elemental

Leaf - used to cast overworld spells

Water - used to cast ocean spells

Stone - used to cast underground spells

Lava - used to cast nether spells

    Purpose

Shiny - used to cast enchantment spells

Ender - used to cast teleportation spells

Dark - used to cast harmful spells

Light - used to cast healing spells

To cast a spell, you'd combine an Elemental tablet with a Purpose tablet. Some examples of spells could be: Lava + Light = fire resistance, Ender + Water = dive, Stone + Shiny = haste enchantment, Stone + Ender = mine block from a distance.

How do you get Tablets? The more common, Elemental tablets would drop from common mobs like zombies and spiders. The Purpose tablets would come from all boss mobs, spider jockies, blazes, wither skeletons, and endermen. They would be fairly uncommon drops.

The other way to obtain these is through Tabletcrafting. First, you'll need 10 of any type of Tablet. Place down an iron block. Then, right-click the iron block with 10 tablets in hand to change it into a Tabletcrafting table. If you have Ender Tablets, it will be an Ender Tabletcrafting Table. If you have Water Tablets, it will be a Water Tabletcrafting table, and so on.

Right-clicking the tabletcrafting table with STONE in hand will convert one piece of stone to one tablet of the respective table type.

This is an extremely simple suggestion that has no reason not to be added.

Any recipe? Don't just say "craftable item" and not give a recipe.

Nope. It's not up to the suggester to give specific details about some niche idea. The suggester's role is to pitch a general idea, which hopefully Mojang will see and refine. The developers are responsible for creating the exact recipe. I like what you said about the teleporter using XP though.

But I digress, this would be interesting. Support.

Generally if you think something looks good you'll probably like it to some extent.

What don't you like about it? Why not a reason why it seems useless? It doesn't seem to remove any features or even add any major features, it just adds more custom villagers so they aren't the same skins over and over again, it serves as much use as skins in Minecraft, not a huge feature but it can add a relatively large amount immersion to a game of blocks.

    It's clearly racist.

Hmmmmmmmm what is that sound? A villager right? My suggestion is to add rogue villager villages that have barbarians in them called vikings. About 1 in 10 villages would be a viking village. The villagers attack players who enter. There are rusty iron golems instead of normal iron golems that are weaker, have less health, do less damage, and move slower. The villagers have similar damage to zombies but move faster. And some have bows. Please like and favorite for more suggestions.
