Ooh! Yes we did/do have that installed, but we also tried it without it. So if its installed, change each one manually. If its not installed and its a new world, the setting to False should work without further tinkering?
Thanks so much for your response!
Pretty much sums it up. In single player, you probably do not need custom mob spawner. For those of us running servers, we pretty much have to use it to make sure we are keeping things manageable.
Welewa, do you have Custom Mob Spawner (CMS) installed? If you do, then they have to be turned off for each world individually in the CMS configs. If you have done that, or do not have CMS, then it is most likely that you are seeing left overs that have not been killed yet. For example, on the original server, we had golems and ogres turned on at one time, trying to make the game harder, but we found that not only did most players really not like them, but some used them to grief others, so we turned them off again several months ago. That was in August. Just 3 days ago I wondered into an area that had not been explored in quite some time and there was an ogre.
I installed the mod, and have not enough items, a damage indicator mod, and optifine as well. I load the world and it works fine. I can see the creatures but when ever I try to interact with them, the game crashes. Even just looking at the emt will crash it. My crash report:

You are using a pretty outdated version of Forge. Update to 9.11.1.965 and the problem will go away.
Also, when on servers using MCPC (I don't know about singleplayer or modded vanilla) using this:
"Inputting /give <username> 9083 1 [ID] will place a Sky Amulet in the player's inventory, which can be used to spawn a horse."
doesn't work. You have to use /give (or /i) 4143:ID 1
A lot of information on the wiki is outdated or incorrect. The part about the fairy breeding has been wrong for a long time. The above command is almost correct. Here is detailed intructions for spawning any horse (copy and pasted from the website for the original server)
/give Yourname 9081:Value
You would then type, for instance, /give Kattia 9081:1 to get a White Horse producing amulet.
Do not give the amulet produced to players, as it can most times spawn horses infinitely.
Use it yourself by right-clicking the ground two times, then make sure to discard the amulet safely.

The "Bug horse" (known as "phantom horse" on the server) is the dark grey horse that is not obtainable legitimately.
It is called horsebug.png in the texture files. This seems to be a placeholder horse.
How the hell do you disable mocreatures from spawning on the twilight forest? I keep removing references to twilight forest from the config files, removing twilight forest-specific config files under mocreatures, and the damn thing just keeps remaking the damn files!
You'd think this would be obvious. Deleting config files just forces a mod to recreate new versions of those files. This is true for any mod. When you need to do is learn how those configs work and edit them. In your case, you need to go to Configs>customespawner>twilight forest (or something similar)>creatures>mocreatures.cfg. and set canSpawn on everything to false. You can then adjust everything for vanilla and Twilight Forest mobs in the other config files in that folder.
First of all: Awesome mod! Best ever!!!! Second: I've just downloaded Mo' Creatures; it worked fine, and was my first mod. I downloaded LiteLoader along with the Mine Little Pony mod. Now it crashes when i attempt to go on Forge, right at the "Mojang" loading screen. Why? Is LiteLoader incompatible with Forge? I deleted Mine Little Pony, and it still doesn't work. If you need the report, just reply to this message. Thanks, Flame
Liteloader and Forge do not work together by default. However, you can checkout this thread on the original server's website, which has instructions on how to make them work together. Although, I cannot promise the MLP mod is compatible.
Bloodshot, I was wondering if you can add an easy way to know who owns a pet without having to change the ownership or stick in an amulet or anything like that. It is something that comes up from time to time on our server. A command an op could perform while riding the pet would be ideal. Another idea one of our players had was having the owner's name in parentheses next to the pets name (which is how the pixelmon mod does it). I could see the name in parentheses annoying some people though, so I can understand if you do not what to do that.
Block ids 255 and 254 aren't Mo Creatures items. Make sure you both have the same version of all the mods, and try clearing you config folder and let it generate new configs for everything.

This error has nothing to do with Mo Creatures. Despite what SPX says, Optifine and Forge are NOT compatible at the moment. The method he has posted is only for that specific version of Forge and basically requires you to break the Forge install, and then tell Forge to ignore that it is broken. So most Forge mods aren't going to work with it anyways. Get rid of Optifine and Magic Laucher follow Forge's install instructions for the official launcher, and it work just fine. SPX and CPW (Forge developer) are working to make a Forge compatible version of Optifine, so just wait to use one or the other.
I have the exact same problem as you, I put all the files in the Forge mods folder and the game crashes after the Mojang screen. I did notice, however, that the GUI API link in the OP of this thread is a .zip file and not a .jar file like it's supposed to be. I don't know how to compile all of the files into a .jar file so I can't be of much help, perhaps somebody else can help resolve this issue?
Edit: Renaming the file from GuiAPI-0.15.7-1.6.2.jar.zip to GuiAPI-0.15.7-1.6.2.jar changes nothing, it's still recognized as a .zip file even though the name is different.
Your web browser is changing it to a .zip. Try using a different one. If that still doesn't work, a program like IZArc can be used to convert one archive type to another, although it is not guaranteed to work perfectly. When I downloaded it, it was a .jar.

I'm having the same issue, but on 1.7.10. I am guessing Karyonix hasn't been updating the mod for older versions of MC.
0
Pretty much sums it up. In single player, you probably do not need custom mob spawner. For those of us running servers, we pretty much have to use it to make sure we are keeping things manageable.

If its not showing up, its because your download was corrupted. I haven't seen anyone else with the issue. Maybe try a different web browser.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I should have mentioned that was for 1.6.4 and earlier. I do not currently know the item ids for 1.7.2.
