We've mostly just sent our files to @GerbilCrab via dropbox or something. Speaking of files, I've started on some textures for the items in the newest snapshot. I'll send a pic; any feedback would be much appreciated.

I made some fox textures. I'll add them to the dropbox link. Fixed the chest textures, too.

We can keep the Subnautica one as a good place holder for now. Yeah, Zombie horses can only be spawned by eggs. I will handle them. I also noticed that pandas and foxes are still default. I may be able to make some custom textures like how I did llamas.

Edit: I am confident in the patch's current state to release a WIP version of the patch. It works with 1.15 and most textures have been finished. Please let me know if anything else is missing.

I will be reviewing the textures on Monday. Stay tuned.

1.16 is going to be hard but we may get a boost from some pre made stuff to aid us.

Update: Many of the textures look very nice and I will be working on implementing them during the next couple of weeks. Very nice job on the horses. Only the zombie horse needs a texture but I can figure something out for that. The wandering trader is also missing textures and there is currently no difference between tool smiths and weapon smiths (I can fix this). Your work on the turtles and bees is fantastic. The kelp is good but something about the middle stem makes it look like it's flashing rather than moving. Overall excellent work! We may get this project back on its feet in time for 1.15's release.

Well, yeah, but I just like the honey skin. Plus, bees accelerate the growth of other crops when they fly over them with pollen.

But it makes crafting honey blocks easier and everyone knows that those are game breaking lol

@MR_Creep111 I'm not good at pixel art, so I'm afraid I can't help, but I'm looking forward to your version! Do you have a working one for 1.13?

Even before the change 8 weeks ago, honey was exactly equivalent to mutton, which stacks to 64. So it doesn't seem as game-breaking as all that.

You are basing some of this on outdated information. In snapshot 19w36a Honey Bottles changed from 9.6 Saturation to 2.4 Saturation, making them equal in Saturation to Apples and Chorus fruit, well below any cooked meats. Honey Bottles are now far less efficient than any cooked meat food source.

The fact that slime blocks no longer stick to honey blocks is amazing.

I mean, seriously? They've done next to nothing aside from bug fixes and it's going to take them ANOTHER three months before they release?

My opinion is the opposite; take all of the time you need to fix the game's bugs, technical issues, and performance (granted, of course, they actually attain most of that).

I have almost NEVER been current on Minecraft's version since 1.7 released, and when I am, it's not for long, whereas when I started playing between 1.2.5 and 1.6.4, I usually updated between day one and a few days after. The reason(s) have been split into two main ones, the first being procrastination/waiting on third party stuff (I wait on OptiFine, Forge, one visual-only mod, and any changed I need to do to keep the texture pack I use looking the same), but the other is because of technical issues. There always seems to be something technical coming out of these new versions that causes issues to the point I just go "it's not worth the time invested fixing this instead of just playing more in my world as-is". Either performance drops horribly (1.7, 1.8, and 1.13 were bad for this), they change something regarding rendering, texture packs, etc. (seemingly every other version I need to do something to texture packs to keep them the same, 1.7, 1.12, and 1.13 at least caused this), or something just doesn't work right (anti-aiasing breaking in 1.7, chunks not loading right at certain render distances in 1.7, and now 1.13/1.14, rendering issues causing seeing through into the void since 1.8's rendering changes, etc.).

If this update actually is little more than a performance/technical update, AND it actually attained that to a good extent, I would be INCREDIBLY happy, but I will reserve my hopes until results come given Mojang's track record of "slow progress, nice new features, but more performance/technical headaches".

As for the known stuff, the bees at least (since the rest seem to be unconfirmed for the next 1.15 release and may be future content) are nice by me. I've always loved the idea of "ambience additions" to the game, and I feel they've been doing a good job of offering that. The bees do indeed seem a bit big though. The other stuff all sounds wonderful (nether attention, mountain changes, etc.), but I echo the confusion of holding a vote for updating new biomes when past ones weren't gotten to.

Sometimes we forget that Minecraft is not an only-Mojang's enterprise anymore... Mojang is subservient to Microsoft and all the other studios that make Minecraft for other platforms, so they can't rush content without waiting for the others to keep pace with them.
