Is there a mod, for 1.8 and above obviously, that deals with making diorite, andesite, and granite more versatile like stone? Perhaps making it to where you can use them for a tools slightly better than stone tools, or you can use them to make slabs, stairs, walls, and other things like that?

Things that could possibly be in it:
-New Insane difficulty where all of this is present
-All Hostile mobs have 5 more Hit points
-Creepers have a 10% chance of spawning normally charged.
-Charged Creepers have 2x Hit Points.
-All zombies can break doors down.
-Villagers are always infected.
-Zombies spawn skeletons when killed.
-Skeletons spawn withers when killed with fire/lava
-Witches fire potions twice as fast.
-Wolves are hostile unless a bone is in the inventory.
-Mob Spawners spawn 2-4 mobs always
-Local Difficulty increases 5x faster
-You start off with ¾ less Hit Points
-Mobs spawn with armor on them more often
-Villager Popularity starts off at -10
-Spiders spawn in larger groups
-Spiders negative effects are 2x deadlier
-Cave Spiders will spawn normally in caves without spawner
More ideas that'd make survival harder are welcomed; If there are mods that exist that are similar or exactly like this please let me know.
