well, it's pretty scary now, so like 3 or 4 terrain.png for all blocks? it's good. why don't be like this: when the chunk is loaded, all rand-tex block will be assigned a texture, and when it comes to your FOV, the texture is loaded directly to the block.
Hey, this might be added in the (distant) future! Ever tastes Gulliver Mod? It feels Perfectly like that! It's just the fog and the default texture pack. reduce the whole tex to 4x4, maybe? (8*4=32, double native res) This idea could add many possibilities. Like, piling snow, item placement(yes, item), piling leaf, finite water, whole new lighting system (lightrays and suchs), real pure ore block, entity block grid( minecart full with coal? better not spilling it on the way!), and many more! But, even with the 32(*8) render (simulation) will cost a gigantic(huge) slab(chunk) from RAM! I personally think that this kind of render engine will come out at 2020 or 2025, where we will have a 1 TB RAM on our laptop.
what if you put items based on the pixel texture grid on the block? so a lump of coal will add up space of like, 3x4x2 pixel. that is 150 cubic cm. reasonable for me.chuck all your mining crap to your minecart and sending it to your base is possible, without a chest!
Emerald chips, anyone? So, maybe if a server starts ALL resources have the same price.(like, 500). and then, if someone buys something, any other items gets cheaper by 1-2 chips and the bought item gets an increase (5-8). and thats per item bought. Every minute, all prices are lowered by 1. so, what do you say?
If an item gets bought frequently its increase rate will increase(duh) and the prices will be as high as the sky. for balance purpose, valuables (set by server) will have an increase rate of 40-80 based on the base price set by the player market. I mean, after the market had run for a time, the admin can see what is valuable and what is not. thus the admin will set the price for valuables. I expect like only 6-8 chips per and 35k-50k per .
We need more health.(and damage, of course to make it well balanced) If one HP per minute and your max is only 20, it's not realistic. Heal up all your claws, holes, and bones in less than a day? Say, 100 HP is fine to me. Or maybe a thousand. So we can regenerate like 30 HP a minute and not unbalanced. The hunger system now needs a thing like that too. Maybe a Calorie and Fullness bar? Anyone?

You start with 1500 C and 75% (as if you were stranded from another continent far,far away) and must fill those as fast as possible. You can stack up to 8000 C and 120%. What I expect for this kind of system is a bar, not a pictograph. Sorry if it's too long.
Well, nice idea. Getting slimeballs is pretty difficult. What about Superflat? We got tons of them. Make your own pet slime without getting pushed anywhere, maybe?
MultiMine does it, anyway. But yes, the mobs grinding your home is a good idea. Hire a Villager to repair your stuffs and such? The hammer need some materials to repair the block. Dusts, maybe? Or, Exp?
Good idea. I hate it when I have to dig deeeeep down to the earth just to find some iron. But, placing iron ore block back and remining it is just the same as infinite iron, isn't it?
what about small essence to speed up 1-2 stage of growths, medium for 3-5 stages, and big essence for full growth? it may be worth it while you're short of coal or emerald and have a lot of essence. or maybe an exchanger? bonemeal seems like doesn't fit to the magical crop. you know, it's magical. haven't tried your mod yet, but soon i will. my parents are around me! good luck with the mod.
... my downloads(s!) didn't have any folder named contents... I searched the whole zip and nothing seems like a drinks script. is it intentional? it's your download link. the 1.4.0 link above and below is the same link and give out same zip(duh). i like your mod idea and I want to use it!
