Well, most importantly you know that they do play minecraft - and when they do it (I doubt they will collect a lot of data about ingame actions).
If you have enough data, it becomes very easy to combine users into groups - for example, people that play regularly in the evening probably have a day job. Combine that with data gathered from other sources (Say, the microsoft store, xbox network etc.) and you get a pretty good idea of their age, interests, habits and more.

well... ok, so your laptop was just mad these days? i can go with this xD

didn't you say 1.8? this is forge 1.7.2

you cannot use both your onboard graphics chip and the amd, as far as i know (and if you did, it would probably give you no advantage). don't mistake the processor (which minecraft indeed uses a lot) with the graphics chip (something like "intel hd express").
in some cases, minecraft uses the onboard graphic chip instead of the graphics card, which could explain your fps.
if you have your amd displayed, like in the image below, this is not the cause of the issue.

i kinda forgot to ask, but are you sure minecraft uses your graphics card, not the onboard chip?
(you can check this in the f3 menu, in the upper reight corner)

i should pin this up somewhere, i didn't know it either.

i doubt that this is the exact same issue, as your attachment is pointing to a graphic driver or opengl issue.please create an own thread for this.
some people solved low fps on win8 by disabling hyperV, but i'm not sure if this also applies to win10.

"And i'm running Windows 10 (which hasn't caused any problems yet)"
this is where the little alarm bell inside of my head starts ringing. have you checked compatibility? are your graphic drivers up-to-date and compatible with win10? most common mistake while upgrading windows.
besides that, i have a little fps boosting guide in my signature (sorry i cant link it now, i'm on my mobile) and there are tons of such guides on the forums

are you playing full screen or windowed? try the other mode as well.
also make sure your graphic drivers are uptodate.

i dont blame you, this is only pinned in the unmodified client section:

see #2 in this post.

i'm pretty sure that this is not about your RAM. i don't like to say this but... have you tried a complete wipe and a clean windows installation, completely from scratch?
also try to boot linux mint from a cd/stick and try to run minecraft there - maybe this is rather a hardware than a software problem.

the font of your texture pack is corrupted. switch texture pack or reinstall the current one.
you can also turn on unicode font. go to menu -> language and then hit the button in the lower left.

probably caused by the fact that this IC2 version is still experimental. if you want to stick with experimental, IC2 2.2.8 is available.

a jar file can be opened with an archiver, just like a .zip file. note that normally, you will never have to open jar file, unless some instruction wants you to do so.
the config files are stored in .minecraft/config and will be generated as soon as you launch minecraft with the mod. they can be opened as plain text, using the windows editor or something like notepad++.

yes, you have a problem, but the message itself is no error (so its not the cause of your problem). there's not much we can do without more information. see this:

no screenshots needed, make dxdiag write a log. follow this tutorial:
