Mobs are dangerous... plus, the landing will be mostly clumsy and it ends in me taking 'kinetíc damage', or landing at night, continuing to walk and jump yuntil i hit a wall and mobs catching me.... this mod should be useful though.

Thanks for replying. Adding an info: this server is 5 years old, there are A LOT of cool buildings there. Space is actually very short; choose a building. Choose a direction. After 200-300 blcks, you find another structure. What's the 'pursuit of greater things'?

Please, I have a question. I play in a 12000x12000 server (6000 in every direction). Downloading this all is gonna take a while, I think it takes about 30min to cross the map, if I pillar up and Elytra it through the server, as the height I am doesn't matter, since the mod downloads everything when on that chunk, even when the floor is unrendered (correct me if I'm wrong). If I set the render distance to about 11 chunks, 176 blocks in every direction, so about 300 blocks, just to be sure. If I 'scan' the map, it's gonna be about 40 'server-crosses', a total of 1200 minutes, 20 hours. This is sure a LOT of time. Can I pause the download, restart the PC and continue to download? Or I'm gonna have to stop the download, continue the download later and go on until I finish, and later merge the worlds with MCEdit? PLEASE, it's very important!

Is there a way for it to save the whole world? If not, can you indicate such a mod?

posted a message on Scarecrow Mod!

The Scarecrow mod! It adds a mob, the bird! If it detects a farm in a 128x128 block radius, it will eat the crops. If, however, you spawn a scarecrow (pole, hay bale, pumpkin and 2 poles next to the hay bale), it will chase the birds in a 16x16 blocks radius, then go back to its spawn spot. It attacks the bird, throwing it to the air like a Golem, but not hurting the bird, like when throwing an egg. The birds despawn and are passive, but flee even when the player is at +15 blocks away: very hard to kill them. When they die, they drop seeds, an egg (with which you can pet a bird) and rarely a nest, which is used to pet the bird.

So, on the fifth video ("A Tempestade! #5"), at (aprox.) 10:50 you can see him hovering over the ores he put into the Tinkers' grid. There are aluminiu and copper ores.

Here's the link: youtube.com/watch?v=QgyayW3N4Y4 From 10:50 to 11:00 he's hovering over them. You may say that this doesn't prove anything, but, IIRC, the gravel ore was near a road to the castle, so the builder obviously rendered that too. Also, the gravel orec can only be obtained by collecting it, there isn't a way to generate it.

But if the world was already generated, how could he find mod-ores? Like, he found aluminium ore gravel and many other things. Something I also noticed is that the y coordinate is weird, like, a normal plain is at y=85. Explain me these things.

Here it is. It's in portuguese, so you may not understand a lot of things, but you will see the map, not listen to him.

Troubleshooting thread. I saw an youtuber with an amazing world, there were rivers, mountains, walls, plains, forests and swamps. Obviously that wasn't vanilla, so I started looking for the mod.

If you want to have a further look, here it is: mediafire.com/?mcle5swpq3t7vmd

Note: the file says "Vida Hardcore", which is the same as "Hardcore Life". The link was taken from the video, so it's safe.

UPDATE: Installed the most recent version of Forge and Optifine (like, OF inside the forge /mods folder). Crashed. Forge alone: worked. Forge + 1 mod (Xray, because it seems to be one of the 1st mods for 1.9): worked.
