Is it just me, or does TNT "destroy" ore and other blocks, so you can't collect it afterwards? I've only been getting cobblestone and dirt from my explosions..
Clarify what you mean by this. Are you asking if it happens before I use any chests, or what? And my keys never stick when I'm using any other programs.
Minecraft is known to be nasty when working on Linux.
That may be the cause, then. Although, besides the key sticking, there isn't any other problems worth mentioning.
When I'm running around in Minecraft, sometimes my movement keys will "stick" -- i.e. when I release the button, my character keeps moving or jumping. This continues until I either tap the key again (doesn't always work), or hit Esc to enter then exit the main menu. I noticed that this only seems to happen when I am moving and right or left clicking.
This problem is minor, but it causes huge problems when I, you know, unexpectedly leap off of that gigantic cliff I was working next to.
Anyone know what might be going on? And is anyone else having this problem? I've got Alpha 1.0.14, running Ubuntu Linux 10.04.
I'm futzing around with something, and I need to know what the saved levels directory is on a Windows machine. (I'm running Linux, so I can't find out for myself.) It's apparently C:\users\username\Application Data\somethingoranother
I could explain why I need to know, but it's not important.

He shouldn't need Wine as long as he has Java, but he could try it.

Why are you running the jar file from the terminal? And exactly what version of Ubuntu are you running? 10.04?
Btw, might be a good idea to make sure you have the latest version of Java installed, just in case.
