Hmmpsh, more map making stuff.
Really?? that's not good. better reinstall my "SafetyWall" that I had from back in alpha, unless I want a skeleton spawncamping inside my house.

Yeah, I knew about the Husk, but originally though that the above-ground mineshafts were a rumor. Thanks for the info!

So, i was playing on my snapshot survival world, and was digging into a large mountain in the Mesa biome. I was at around the y-level of 68, when I stumbled upon gold ore. Curious, I exited my tunnel and looked for a cave leading into the biome. I found one, and found a LOT of gold ore. It wasn't very scattered, and seemed to be more common than iron ore. I delved deeper to find it generating at the usual levels it is found at.
So, my question is, has anyone else seen this in Mesa biomes?

That's a much better idea. Will now update this thread.

Thank you, I thought it was a good idea too, and that it might give an RPG feel to the game, as if the biomes were separate areas or levels, with their own background music tracks. I'll definitely make sure to keep this thread updated.

So when I was playing Survival Mode, I got lost in a cave, and had a nightvision potion effect. Because my spawn was close to my home, and I had keepInventory set to true, I decided to use the /kill command. I noticed upon respawning that my nightvision effect had been canceled upon respawn. So, my suggestion is that potion effects are carried over through respawn when a brand new gamerule called /keepEffects is enabled. And by this I mean positive effecttss, as if it also applied to negative ones, well, what if you died to poison? That would make it so you are still poisoned upon respawn, and that wouldn't be good. So, again, my suggestion is that positive potion effects be carried over through respawn when a new gamerule called /keepEffect is enabled.

I'd like there to be a mod that makes it so whenever you enter a certain biome, a certain song or list of songs will play in the background while you are in that biome. I think that you should be allowed to choose which song or songs will play in a certain biome, somehow. If this were possible to be done, I'd much appreciate it's creation. Thank you.

My suggestion is a large but very simple one. I suggest that mine carts should be able to link together, like cars on a train. This can allow you and your friends to go to the same place at the same time without waiting for each other, and allow you to take your stuff with you in a chest cart whenever you ride the rails. This shouldn't be too hard to code, as mine carts are entities, and theoretically could have a lead attached to them. So, it could be done by simply reusing the lead code while editing it to make the entity being led only go within a block from the leader, and editing it so said leader could be another entity, such as the other mine cart. This feature would have it's limitations though, as a maximum of 5 mine carts can be pulled at once.
My second suggestion is a new use for the furnace cart, being a pull system for linked carts. Basically, powered rails will not boost three linked minecarts, as they are all moving at the same speed (If that defies logic/reality, then that's too bad. Plenty else in-game does.). So, furnace carts can now act as the head of the "train", pulling along the minecarts behind it. There would be limitations to this too, however.

Kill it with fire.

Is this customizable? I like the minecart rails and ladders, but can't stand the look of the cobblestone....

I'll have to do that then, if I can find a request thread that isn't for mods...

Are there any sort of resource packs out there that remove the sounds minecarts make? After all my looking around all I've found are old threads and google trying to auto-correct minecart to Minecraft.

Also, all you need is Essentials, just make sure only admins or you can use the commands. Just do /invsee [playername]

I like it, but only if you can't chat with other players not in spectator. For obvious reasons. Support

That is fine, thank you very much for your efforts.

I have used Aether 2, and would like to play Aether 1 to conquer the dungeons, and revisit the mod itself after about 3 years. As I am now saying again, I wish to play the Aether 1 mod in whatever stable version I can get. At the moment I haven't found anything that can work with Forge, has an installer, or works with the new launcher for Minecraft.
