There could be any number of attributing factors that could be the reason why you have a desire to do it so much. However, addiction is far different than a desire. I am not addicted, nor is my girlfriend, but pretty much every time we see each other (except on those certain five days of the month), we always do it. It's not a matter of addiction, it's just something we both enjoy.
So, before thinking this is an addiction, step back and really focus on why you are doing it. Are you trying to get over your ex? Do you just simply enjoy it? There is another factor that could be the reason, but that is of a much more personal nature and I don't think you would necessarily want to spill the beans on that if indeed it has happened to you, but it could also be a factor.
Trust me though, I have been on the bad end of heart ache before, I know where you are coming from. Having a desire to do "it" so much may not necessarily be an addiction, and it probably isn't. I have a friend who actually has this kind of addiction, and she literally has withdrawal symptoms from not satisfying it.
I don't think this is necessarily the best place to continue this, simply because of the nature of it and the fact we have a lot of children on these forums as well. If you want to PM and talk, I'm more than happy to and help you through it. Just remember though, don't try to diagnose yourself. If you really feel it is a problem and that you are sick, see a doctor about it. Until you hear it come from the mouth of a professional though, do not think you are sick, because it is not a sickness most likely.

Rex_Dolorum posted a message on A special kind of problem. In my opinion, yeah I think that's kind of a bad thing, and I'd recommend stopping. In my eyes, we should just stick with one person, you know?Posted in: General Off Topic
Is there any other sort of thing going on than just your breakup? Like anything else you're trying to drown out in this "thing"? - To post a comment, please login.
