To be honest I had to do a lot of problem solving when building stuff and designing redstone circuits. School isn't just about memorizing stuff about certain subjects, it's about acquiring mental skills (and physical too) such as problem solving, hard work, motivation, creativity, team work, finding novel solutions, rationing, organizing, acquiring new information and more... and this game can very well stimulate these mental skills if done properly. It can actually be MORE effective than classical teaching due to the fun nature of the game and interactivity.
Many of you need to see what school is really about, sure you need to know how to write and do arithmetic and know history... but a lot of the stuff you learn you will also forget... skills on the other hand stay longer and aren't forgotten as easily.
I agree with this post. Being a student myself, with ADD I might add, focusing on things is not my key skill. I often find myself playing out "scenarios" with my supplies. But when the learning is presented in a fun new way that appeals to me I find myself sitting intently wanting to learn more!

Yup, I tried my best but everyone turned on me... I actually liked the one that was sexually interested in me.
