Here's two houses that I've built over the past year or so. The first is from October or so while the second one was done in December or so. Since then, I've been spending most of my time on the city that is linked in my signature.
Mine was back in the days way before sneak was added to the game. I had just dug my first 3x3 mineshaft to bedrock and came across a huge vein of 8 diamonds. I abandoned my better judgment and dug straight down, immediately falling into a pit of lava and losing my first 8 diamonds.
I actually registered on this site for telling you how awesome this is :wink.gif:

Just a question: I'm currently applying for a whitelist on this server, but it seems to have undergone a very recent major revamp...is the city still there?
Yes, we just reset the map due to some pretty rampant map corruption. We plan to move some of the projects from the old server, including New Alexandria, over to the new map in the future, but it's not currently there. I'd still encourage you to play on TurtleCraft as it's been my one and only server for the past ten months. :biggrin.gif:

And here's a look at all of the land that has been cleared for the Colosseum. A massive mountain was taken down and that area and much of the large body of water there will be used for the fullscale Colosseum.
Weird, I've never had that problem on my MacBook. Try deleting your /bin folder from the /minecraft folder.
For some reason, I can't play using the updated launcher available on Notch's website. It brings up the prompt asking if you're sure that you want to open a downloaded program, then nothing happens. If I open the Minecraft app again, the window comes up again but nothing happens. I've been playing with an ancient launcher as a result. It's annoying because the launcher that I'm stuck with doesn't give you the ability to not update when an update is available.
It's a nice start; I'd love to see what the final version ends up looking like.
You need to find a nice location for it, come up with an equally attractive facade for the back and sides, and make sure that the landscaping and interior are of the same quality as the front of the building. If you pull that off, you'll have one amazing resort. :biggrin.gif:
Also, it's kind of unusual for a resort to have a wall. I like the design but I'm not sure if it fits here.
