I anticipate the sharks. The current update alone adds much needed diversity to the waters, but the seas still feel a bit empty without some big fish with sharp teeth that wants to eat you.
Concerning distance, will using a mob spawn editor to make mobs naturally spawn in certain biomes cause them to spawn irrespective of distance or will the distant requirement make such spawns only possible after hitting the distance stated in the config?
Why does the latest update require Java 7 when minecraft typically doesn't? Is a java 6 version possible? Java 7 is proving way too tedious to get working with minecraft and I don't see why I should do so many steps just to get a mod update.

Essentially, instead of thirteen groups, there are around sixty. However, I am pretty certain this list covers like, 300 or so biomes since there's so many biomes here I couldn't figure out how to fit them all in the same game due to the ID limit.
It's experimental, and contains biomes from Twilight Forest, NetherX, Biomes O Plenty, Highlands, Extra Biomes XL, Better World Gen 4 and Alternate Terrain Gen.
I probably will not try filling out spawn lists, as i'm pretty jaded, but if anyone wants to take what I have so far and improve on it, go ahead.

These spiders are uncreative ripoffs because they are literally red spiders with the word Nether plopped behind it and a fire effect added, yeah, give it a prefix of the fire dimension, turn it red and give it the power to set stuff on fire when it attacks, real clever, the only creative part at all is the spider leg jumping, and that part seems clumsily dropped in with the idea.
Wither skeletons have an ability that is totally unrelated to the both Nether dimension and regular skeletons, Slenderman not only behaves far different to Endermen, but isn't even in the game, so he can't be used, otherwise literally everything is a ripoff if you can count other media.
Cave spiders weren't just black colored spiders, the poison was a fully unique effect at the time of addition and a far way away from spiders, their smaller size further makes them different by making them very maneuverable.
Endermites aren't finished, and will be getting a new model in the next snapshot, and a special and unique behavior either in the same snapshot or shortly afterwards, so stop being so shallow and get some common sense and reasoning.
How is jumping very high and being able to set you on fire not unique enough? I don't think any mob in the game currently is able to jump as high as a nether spider.
I have a mod pack that makes use of Lava Monsters and Mob Properties, it is a mod pack centered around making the world a more diverse place along with filling out aspects of the game I felt were too underdeveloped and is called Wanderlust.
As a suggestion, if you intend to make gluttons breedable, they should stay hostile even if "tamed" as to make them a more unique domesticate since no matter what they likely would indiscriminately try to devour anything that goes wherever you keep them, including players.
Is it okay if I use this mod in Wanderlust? I like the customizability of how you can improve the guns using inlays and with mobs added by project zulu, there's a bit of a beast hunting feel added by this mod.
I just know they're going to be able to heal themselves by hurting you, go fast, take a large share of damage to kill [dunno about invincible] unless you set them on fire or use silver/gold and chase you around as a bat.
I swear there are such points, which is why in PoW there's time skips. What hug means is that PoW has no set ending to it, beyond perhaps the end of the human race which probably will happen by 1996 in PoW.

They deleted the post. Most other forums have the courtesy of not doing this except for posts that post porn or spam links. This one deletes any post for even minor offenses and that's the policy they demand of mods.
I find myself to prefer alt history forum's strictness over MCF's lazy dictatorship since at least alt history forum doesn't delete offending posts because the admin there hates that more than I do.
But this is off-topic, even if administrative actions are relevant to the current state of MCF RPing.

The portal requires more than compressed cobble though.
And using creative mode isn't a option since I want the portal to be accessible through survival.

What if the world can rarely generate a dungeon type very, very deep underground in the over world that contains a portal to the deep dark?
