Forgive my noobishness, but since the 1.3 update came out, I'm totally lost at the whole coordinates thing. I can type seeds in and everything just fine, but what do I do with the coordinates everyone is talking about? Where do I type those in?
Say I wanted to make some Minecraft machinima, and I'm a huge cinema nerd. It would be awesome to be able to cap off the framerate at say, 24fps to keep it consistently cinematic. How hard would this actually be to mod, if it's not actually possible from the outset? I know there's an option to "lock" the framerate in-game, but I have no idea what frame-rate it actually locks it at.
And yes, I know you can't magically raise the fps, I just want it not to go past a set point at the user's discretion (like 'fps_max 24' or whatever number). Thanks in advance!
there is an option in the minecraft options menu :smile.gif:
I know there is (as I said in the OP), but It'd be nice to set specific framerates. :|

Any way to make the DoF distance-based? The default one is too intense and the modified "realism" one is too inconsistent for me. I'd like it to just uniformly blur based on distance, like fog.
The other day I made a song (well, not really a song since it lacks lyrics) that accidentally became an awesome track to play Minecraft to (as a couple of friends might put it), and I felt like shamelessly plugging sharing it with you. Please let me know what you think!
I've found it to be quite loop-able without getting annoying. :tongue.gif:

Yes, quite.
As long as we don't get f**king supernovas. Those sound awful.

I'm saying the framerate of my game is in fact too high, and inconsistent. I am not daft good sir!

This + DOF + Betterlight = will make for an extremely cool Minecraft. :biggrin.gif:
Now, if only it worked for 1.2 and ATI. :|
