Hello I cant help with every thing but I know that mcprohosting is good. Essentials plugin is a must.
I have an extra computer in my house no one is using so I made a server on there I got like 25 people on at a time no lag. According to can I host a mc server website I can have 50 people on it. When I reach 50 people then I will go pay mcprohosting to host it. That way when it was just starting out and no one really played on the server it didnt cost me. Not saying you should do that but it's an idea.😃 also it's a good way to test mods and build the world before its hosted.
I have a vanilla Minecraft server 1.8 and monsters won't spawn I checked the server properties and it says allow monsters and its on true. I will post the properties please help me.
Can I still get advice on video cards and mobo I mean are the one s I picked any "good". If I need something better and it cats more I have room in my budget of 1500.
1. Home hosting is not good for large servers. Home hosting is ok for small private servers but that is it. And if you need more then 16 GB of RAM then you are hosting a too big of a server for your network.
2. It is better just get a gaming PC and then pay a hosting company to host your server.
I understand that home hosting is not good for large servers but I like the fact that I have full control over my server becadur it is in my house. The extra ram is so I can upload and render videos while the server is running.
Thank you for the reply I really want 32 gigs of ram as I said in the origional post. So I just wanted suggestions on the mother board and graphics card. The reason I picked 750 watt was because I wanted room for improvements and for future builds.
I am making a gameing PC that I will play mc at max settings and will eventially turn it into a server and build a better gameing one. That is the reason for the fast proccesor and 32gb of ram so I definately want them but please tell me if every other part is good my budget is 1500.
You don't need 32GB ram, and you will probably will not need it for like 10-15 years. An i5 with an r7 260x? Reviews on that motherboard are horrible. Why do you need a fan controller? I'm pretty sure you don't even need a case fan..Professional Windows? It's never needed. Why in the heck do you need 750W? You're focusing a lot more on fancy, expensive items than for good, well performance parts..Again, for 1,100 bucks an r7 260x with an i5? OP never said he needed perephials either.
Ok Instead of criticing my build post your own thTs what he wants is a build so post one and stop critizing others.
