This is one of my favorite texture packs. Now, I do have a suggestion...
Could you please make an alternate version or a customizable version, so I can get rid of the pink iron?
It's pretty much the only thing keeping me from making this my main 16x pack. Meanwhile, I mix and match armor textures and item textures from other packs to get rid of that damn PINK IRON!!
It drives me insane, I tell you. It's like a fly in the world's best soup... sigh...
I'm sorry to hear that. I've sorta been avoiding this place and avoiding working on my texture pack. There's just so much more I have to do (including working on an RPG variant for this pack)!
If you're interested in an RPG version, there's always that (I promise there won't be any pink iron). But the stuff in here... I dunno. If I can remember, I'll try. No promises, though... :\

I would be glad to help make it, if thats even what you want?
If by help, you mean build it with me, that'd be a no. Don't take it the wrong way, though. That's just how I am: I like to do thing on my own.
If by help, though, you mean review it or give it critique, I'll (hopefully) be releasing the BETA map soon, so stick around.

I would love to either:
a) Beta-test it
c) (since "b" doesn't work well) Give it a review (in Beta State)*
*Please note that your map review for your beta state may have many more points. If you release your beta map as your final map, you will get a CONSIDERABLE drop in it...
As I told the gentleman above, I'll be releasing a BETA map soon. Hopefully, I can get lots of feedback on this.
Apr 5, 2012What if I told you of an adventure map so ambitious, it would take months, maybe even years, to develop? What if I told you of an adventure map completely done from the ground up, starting with a flatworld? Wouldn't that just wet your appetite? It sure would wet mine!Posted in: Maps Discussion
That's exactly what I'm working on right now.
... Hi! I'm Losm. Some of you might know me through my texture pack, LosmCraft, which was featured in the Yogscast's "Curse of the Pumpkin Prince". Well, it turns out I can make maps, too. Interesting ones, it would seem. I'm here to present to you a special kind of map: one that's completely, 100% made by me, aside from the grass base. Sounds interesting, right? I sure hope so.
Some of you might also know that I'm working on an RPG version of my texture pack. That also sounds interesting, right? But what does this have to do with the map? Well, practically, the map is sort of my way of advertising and showcasing the new texture pack. So, yes, that means it has a specified texture pack as well. I did say it was going to be 100% made by me, didn't I?
Well, I think I've babbled on long enough. Plus, I'm pretty sure I've said all I needed to say. Here are some pictures:
Thanks for checking this out;
Apr 1, 2012I've finally come to the conclusion that this texture pack sucks and that it's extremely tedious to update. I've decided to stop updating from this day forward.Posted in: Resource Packs
That is all. Thanks.
EDIT: April Fools!! Heh. Yeah. I'm still dedicated to making this the best thing I can make.

Hey, I haven't used your texture pack, but I've seen it in the video. As I make texture packs and I've run into the same problem before I can help you out a pinch. When you make the chests, since they open now, you need to make the bottom part of the lid and the top part of the bottom identical. If you don't you get this weird effect where it switches between showing one or the other and looks glitchy. Maybe you've already fixed this as of the version that I'm seeing, but if not, you might give it a try.
Great texture pack!
I'm well aware of the effect. I do actually play the game, ya' know. I also know how to fix it. I'd just rather not as I see it as a small problem and honestly, I think it'd ruin the full texture, in a way.

, I want to see pics of this alleged 'RPG' variant of the pack, even if there's only a little done; IWANNASEEPROGRESS!Also, I don't much care for Comic Sans; imo, it doesn't really suit the theme of your pack, and is generally considered a child-like/unprofessional font :S
I've been dying to show some spoilers. Might as well show the current terrain.png!
Oh, and that's actually one of the reasons I use Comic Sans: because it's just like me in real life.

I have an important question for you!
Can I include your texture pack into the download of my custom map?
This is so that your texture pack is automatically included in my map's download.
Thank you in advance! I think that your texture pack is great!
P.S. the link to my map is in my signature
Everything went well the last time it happened (the Yogscast even ended up using it!). Sure. Go ahead. Just make sure to add me into the in-download credits and the in-thread credits.

Damn you, Losm, Y U SO GOOD!??!?
Seriously, I could only dream of making this; colour-blind eyes only go so far
And, as it stands, this is one of my favourite packs atm, easily within my top-5 (and I periodically use over 40packs)
Also, I have to ask, given your poll up there: will you make the variants of the pack as suggested up there?
What in Minecraftia are you talking about?! Your texture pack looks great! It's a style that I'd love to try.
Speaking of styles, that's just it. I have a specific (mostly cartoony) style and you have your own. I know it sounds super cheesy, but it's true. :| I like your texture pack can only wish to replicate it. Good job.
Oh, and towards your last comment/question:
The polls are just there for a general idea of things. While it doesn't necessarily mean I'll do it, it always helps. Though, I have been contemplating making multiple themes for a while. I've actually started making an RPG version!

I've pretty much given up on texturing for this game. I can't keep up with the updates and, frankly, I don't care enough.
Hi again, guys. Been a lil' while. I hope I wasn't forgotten! D:
I'm loving 1.2.4. Now, people don't have to ask me about the planks anymore!
Mar 1, 2012I'm just gonna go on a whim here and say you're colourblind. The reason I say this is easy: your obsidian is blue and your flowing lava has green between the orange and black areas.Posted in: Resource Packs
The rest looks fine, save for some easily fixable tiling problems. Good job!
Feb 26, 2012Calling this a "cartoon" pack isn't a good enough excuse. Just look at my pack! I consider that cartoony and it's beyond simple.Posted in: Resource Packs
... Although, that's not to say that this isn't bad. I mean, it certainly isn't super awesome, but it's not bad either. It has a style. I think you should build on that; give it some "volume". Don't just put two colours on every texture! Add more! Give it some shading (just not pillow shading), some highlights, some anti-aliasing... Give it something!
But, heh, yeah. It's not a cartoony texture pack, like you say it is. At least, not what I think is a cartoony pack... But it's still got a cool style. A style you should build on.

Epic texture pack.
I especially like the sparkly diamond/gold ore when you use MCPatcher.
Wait 'till you see the End! :tongue.gif:
I'm not dead! And neither is my texture pack! I'm just eagerly awaiting 1.2 and hope to get my pack released at the same time. :smile.gif:
