You don't deobfuscate it- that doesn't work for anything,

    use this

Great, thanks. I think I've got the code I need down, but I cant test it because of a "Unresolved compilation problem:"this appears to be because a few of your API classes import classes that weren't included in that .zip.

    minefantasy.item
    minefantasy.system
    minefantasy.MineFantasyBase

"Caused by: java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problem:

    at minefantasy.api.forge.HeatableItem.addItem(HeatableItem.java:53)"

What can I do to fix this?

EDIT: Looks like I may have been doing it wrong.

I've got a handle on editing recipes, I'm just stuck at accessing your API. I've got a deobfuscated version of the jar, and can run the dev environment with the mod, I just haven't been able to figure out how to load the packages into Eclipse properly to be able to reference them from my mod.

Do you know what I need to do to make this work?

well I was thinking more in the way of blocks and structures, for example I see change to the blast furnace, between the version I'm now playing and the wiki, and all that tailoring, etc.

I've found the documentation inside the jar to be far more reliable than the wiki

building in a bridge is difficult on my end, as id need to be extremely specific on what the item made is, as for other mods it's a matter on adding a paragraph or even just a line of coding.

The API had a bunch of scripts for that anyway.

Oh, yea doing a dedicated bridge for everything would be hard, but you could potentially have had some sort of simple registration like, [x,y,x,x,null,etc.]=z*2(requires ornate) While messier, it would put the onus on a modpack maker to do the bridging.

Anyway, is there any sort of guide for using your API? As it stands I have ~0 knowledge on Minecraft modding, but building this bridge might prove a good introductory project.

coded recipes are in the source, can't be accessed with the releases

Well, that's going to make any attempt at a recipe bridge addon somewhat harder, unless theres a github page or something.

It actually seems like a recipe bridge should've been inbuilt to the mod, given how drastically it changes the crafting system.

what? nah their coded, just made screenshots and cropped the images.

Yea, that's what I was looking for, the location of the coded recipes.

Has there been any progress on the Micdoodle Core compatibility issue?

Eh it was low profile before that happened. Hence the fact it fell to this level. I'm sort of chipping in on a 7 remake.. but it's not really going anywhere...

The jar itself inside has the "recipes" folder and the pdf(versison mc1.6+)

Is that actually how the recipes are used by the code? Surely it doesn't interpret them from PNGs.

1: A whole bunch of small-ish things, mainly complications under certain conditions

2: there's a PDF file and a folder inside the .jar

3: Well There's an API, but youd need to make an expansion yourself, i've heard somewhere about recipe tweak mods having some sort of compatibility planned.

4: There's a list in config where you add the itemIDs.

the heat gauge needs to be full before functioning, give it time.

Ok, cool, but as for point 2, I was after the location of the recipes in the code. Looked around in the jar and found a lot of classes operating with recipes, but not one example of the stored recipe format.

Okay, I'm really loving this mod. Can someone email me a copy of this mod's 1.6.4 beta 1.0 version? I'd love to try it out, and maybe even help update it to 1.7.2 later on.

I got it from here: http://www.5minecraf...inefantasy-mod/

Aw man so this mod is "dead" at the moment? But it's... so... good... I remember I played with it in the 1.5.2 days. Then when it got a beta for 1.6.4 my MC life was renewed. The bloomery? The Sewing machine? The weapon crafting on the anvil? Gui-less blocks that can still be Gui-ed? Freakin weapon racks (okay yeah Bibliocraft has it too but having another "style" of a block to hold weapons/items is awesome) and tanning racks? To even the awesome firepit that can cook any type of cookable meat... This mod had it all without one needing to add 20,000 other mods to just to have those functions. And the best part is how compatible it is (or can be) alongside other mods.

I also really wish to see a stable version to in the future, since it has become one of my favorites in aesthetic but also functional mods for 1.6.4. But I'm guessing that wish a dud too.

May the Forge force be with you and hopefully you'll find the motivation to keep this great mod alive, one day. Thanks for it and I will still play with the 1.6.4 beta, even with the small bugs.

I'm greatly in agreement with all of this, and, I'm actually very surprised that it seems to have such a low profile. Though, I imagine being semi abandoned with no proper download doesn't help.

I have managed to get my hands on a copy of B1.0, and everything seems to be working correctly so far.

    So, I have four questions:

    1. What exactly is meant to be broken?

    2. Where are all the recipes stored?

    3. How would I go about editing or adding new recipes? I'm currently trying to make weapons from Balkon's weapon mod craftable on the anvil.

    4. What would I need to do to get mod armours such as Thaumcraft's robes registered as light armour so as to remove the speed debuff?

Ah right the download- The current version was kind of... broken. was simpler to just get rid of it. I probably should put up an older version or something... I'm not working on this mod right now so fixing it is a problem.

An older version, yea, could you? Rather than making this mod impossible to acquire.

Please elaborate, what do you mean by all other mods? All except for micdoodlecore and MumbleLink?

There is a confirmed work-around for the micdoodle incompatibilty:
    1. From the error report, pick any one of the listed JARs.
    2. Then inject/copy the native's folders from the MumbleLink jar into
    3. the root of the other jar from step 1
      • darwin (Mac OSX [Apple])
      • linux-x86 (Linux 32bit)
      • linux-x86-64 (Linux 64bit)
      • win32-x86 (Windows 32bit)
      • win32-x86-64 (Windows 64bit)
Note it suffices to copy only the folder that is specific to your operating system. But if in doubt inject all.

Yes, I meant all non relevant mods.

Fix is successful. +10 points to .jar wizardry.

Actually try and put MumbleLink-LIBS-1.7.2-4.1.0.jar into your mods folder too. Even though it says 1.7.2 it probably works for any version so far - that is... if it is a valid work around at all.

I already had tried that, and I just tried it with all other mods removed just in case. No dice.

Would it be possible to get a version of the micdoodlecore fix for the 1.6.4 version?

I'm sure a lot of people running modpacks which are not updated to 1.7 would appreciate such a fix.

Your mod looks amazing by the way, I just wish I could actually use it.
