Mods I'm doing so far:
NOTE:I did not make the ideas for any of these mods I am just reposting here for examples of what I can do.
I got this idea, again, from the Armor Stand mod from Risugami. He added a player model on a pressure plate model to make it look like an armor stand. I thought by myself: Wouldn't it be cool if this would be possible for mobs? I don't know if it's possible but my suggestion resolves around that idea.
A Mob Trophy Stand would be crafted like this:
It looks like a stone slab when placed.
Right-click to open the GUI (like the Armor Stand).
The Gui will have the following layout:

The boxes are white, which means that you can't select it. It needs to become grey to be able to be selected.
It's pretty obvious where Im trying to go but I will still explain. When for example selecting the box for Slime-Bronze the Stand will show the model of the slime with an alternate bronze texture or just recolored to a brownish look (with the recoloring system used by the Aether). This can be done with every mob!

A Bronze Creeper Statue
Now, how to unlock a box so you can select it? You see the amount of kills section there? It counts all kills of that certain mob! To unlock the bronze slime statue you need to kill 10 slimes for example. The silver one requires 50 kills and the gold one requires 100 kills! This counts for every mob! That will keep you busy indeed.
'A Ghast and Spider are bigger than one block, how do you fix that?' The statues will not have any collision with blocks, only entitities. You can make a statue partially go through a wall, it doesn't bother me or the future modder :biggrin.gif:.
Now what is the special one? The special one is only unlocked after unlocking all other statues of that material. It will show your player (or just the char) in bronze, silver or gold!
A Golden Player Statue would indeed tell us that you are addicted to this game.
Possible Bonus Features:
-Bronze statues are only decoration and will look great on your castle courtyard :tongue.gif:
-Silver statues are decoration and when hit they shout out the hirt-sound of the shown mob.
-Gold statues are decoration and when you give it a golden ingot it will give you the drop of the shown mob in return.
-I was thinking that maybe if you power any statue with redstone it will show the walking animation! Would be cool.
Possible Ultra Bonus Feature:
If the mob textures just get recolored instead of a new textures it would be great if this would be compatible with other mod like Mo'Creatures! This is probably just a very nice dream though :tongue.gif:

There are people that like the Survival Mode because of the combination of building and fighting with mobs. Some prefer the building and some prefer the fighting. All of these people have one thing that they all like: The Atmosphere and Landscape. I was thinking on how to add a better Atmosphere to the game. This is done by adding sounds and other aspects of nature. So my idea is: Let's add more mobs that add atmosphere to the game and maybe even add purposes to the mobs. This topic is made to collect all ideas of docile/ hostile mobs that should be added to the Forest and Woodland Biomes of Minecraft. I will list the ones already made, at the top of this topic and the ideas/requests below that. At the end I will discuss eventual new items. My basic ideas are posted. FEEL FREE TO POST YOUR IDEAS! I will add some of them to the OP
Also: I am not a modder myself. I am not English but I try my best to prevent grammar faults. The images are possible models for the mobs but only some have textures.I suck at making them. Maybe you can make some? Also for those who complain about the fish being a marine biome type and not forest/woodland: The waters in rainforests are a part of their biome to! Other biome topics will be added soon!

Info: Very peacefull creature. However sometimes life is cruel so I suggest that they could be caught and be kept as a nice trophy (living or dead, you decide). This could add new items: a butterly net and new portraits which exist of the dead butterflies (see Item section below) (think it's to cruel? comment plz)

Info: This animal is almost the same as the hawk, except for a minor coloring difference. While it flies away from the player, it can be tamed with a loaf of bread. If these are ever implemented, perhaps the player could right click a tamed falcon and it would perch on their left hand (just use the code for the rabbit, but move the mount point)
Right clicking again would release the falcon and it would fly to the nearest enemy and attempt to destroy them (use the code from the Spider Families egg, where you break the egg and it attacks the nearest enemy)

Honey:
How to get: Honey will come from beehives hanging in the trees. Once the beehive is trying to be destroyed, bees will come out of it and try to attack you until you've ran far enough from their territory. When destroyed, the bees will scatter around, and will try to find a new beehive. Will drop 2 to 4 Honeys.
Purpose: Honey can be used as a bait for other mobs/insects, or can be used as food. You can eat the honey raw, and it will heal you a half or one heart. But, eating it raw will attract mobs/insects to you. You can make it 'better' by smelting or cooking it to heal you 2 hearts and prevent that downside.

This special herb gives you some kind of temporary ability that will be an advantage OR a disadvantage when using it. It might give you speed, power, or heightened sense boost, or it might slow you down or just damages you for eating it. You can call it as an experimental herb.
You will still use the concentrated herb as the base, but the similarity ends there.

It's basically like putting random stuff in it and test it yourself.
Results :
Good side :
Power Boost - Gives you a power boost when attained. Attack power will be twice as normal.
Speed Boost - Gives you a speed boost when attained. Speed will be twice as normal.
Heightened Sense Boost - Gives you "Heightened Sense" when attained. Perhaps a sound file will give a 'sound' when a mob is near, and you will be able to see at the dark brighter than normal(Like a nightvision).
Bad Side :
Slowdown - Will slow you down when attained. Speed will be slowed 1/3 as normal.
Poison - Will poison you just eating it. Health will be lost gradually until you drink milk.

Buy a whole new case(not a store bought PC or I will hunt you down with a spoon). Compact PCs are horrible(my first PC was a Compaq, has nothing to do with it), unless you require it to fit in an ungodly small space or it's a laptop. -
