Simple. Just disable the anti-aliasing. And try to enable them in game with the Super Secret Settings
You have no idea how much of a downer it is to have a GTX680 but be forced to use the softwares rendering... and if I could actually use those super secret settings instead of cows mooing/ glass smashing/ etc etc... then maybe, but I just tried switching to those settings and it did not work. So basically minecraft is kinda borked right now, lets hope 1.7.3 fixes this issue because a real solution to this would be great.
So I have put minecraft down for awhile while waiting for the update, I come back load up 1.7.2 and I find that the edges of blocks all have white lines around them. Though I have a GTX680 and the proper aliasing settings, 8X AA and 8X Super Sampling, the white lines persist, and yes I have proper global and override settings, same result. Current R331 drivers for my GTX680.
Anyone else with high end graphics cards experiencing the same issue with 1.7.2, or has anyone come up with a way to fix it yet? Preferably I'd like to solve the issue without disabling my fancy pants graphics cards capabilities that is.
The last time I was around was the 1.6.4 update and I did not have the issue then. Reading around a little, the word seems to be the updated rendering code is doing something wonky in regard to aliasing.
In the medieval ages a Witch was a generic catch-all term associated with both MEN and WOMEN who were believed to be line line with satan.
The word as we know it now has a feminine association, but that is because we have largely forgotten the way in which the word was originally intended to be used...
History lesson aside...
When we were all expecting pigmen villagers we got squidwards... I'm sure they will manage to somehow surprise us.
I like the idea, it gives credence to the minecraft world being magically charged, such that dark magics have a power and sway over the night so deep that it causes their evil minions to burst forth in darkness.
It makes more sense for them to drop carrots and potatoes.
Think of all mobs as being magically created persistent roaming packs, an evil wizard lost control of his experiment turning the minecraft world into what you know it today, and when the light comes they burn up and their matter falls to the floor and sinks into the ground.
Then when night comes that matter reanimates and they spring right up from the ground. Zombies sometimes fall dead over naturally occuring carrot and potatoe plants, they are small cause they have too much grass taking too many nutrients so only they only mature to seedlings, and zombies having the most body, when they spring up from the ground, they can sometimes have potatoe or carrot seedlings stuck onto their dirty bodies.
Then after countless days of their death / undeath cycle you killed them and took the carrot and potatoe seed.
It doesn't work with skeletons cause they are all bones, nor with spiders cause they are insects and spawn differently, and creepers only form out of leafy matter and sulfur from deep within' the earth!
It was a wizard many years ago, and with each new update a part of the magic returns... Minecraft is Magic.
It appears to be code that intends to makes certain text a certain color.
IE : (BF)Apple [the word "Apple" will appear with red text] and (BR)Orange [the word "Orange" will appear with purple text]
Just the mods are using sections of code that were changed in 1.3.2 , so now instead of working properly by giving your items colored text, they are instead glitching out and putting that color code before the text without changing anything.
I am certain that this will be addressed by the MODs maker/s , as this fix should (theoretically) be pretty easy.
So i've not been having any luck finding the right seed to start my new main...
I am trying to find something that spawns you nearish a beach next to some mountains with a waterfall, bonus for a lavafall too... No snow biomes of any kind in the immediate area. I hate the cold.

Most people don't try to make piston cabins, or use pistons as support pillars.
