I think some of the games could have been made real. By "real" I mean actually playable using your character in game.

I wish my first nights resulted in that. I am able to make a nice base but never one with a pigpen.

I am sorry, but I just don't see enough reason to purchase this. Maybe I am missing something here, but it seems like an adventure map that costs $22.49(will be $24.99) on steam. Yes, it looks like an insanely high end adventure map, but that does not mean I want to spend $22.49.
If there is more to this and I am missing it, which I hope I am, then please let me in on it. I just see little to no reason to buy this when I have Minecraft all ready.

This way it would not be compared to Minecraft and would be liked, or disliked, for what it is. Then once the game was a success, I would consider letting everyone in on who I really am. This is what I would do if I were Notch. Heck, he may have already done it, we just don't know yet.Posted in: News

I support this idea.
From a map making point of view this would be nicer for creating a "swamp" area as currently you either find a map location with green water or you mess with biome values. The latter is trouble.
I think this is one of those same concept, but little more to it moments. That said Minecraft already deploys "colored" water for biomes. This would be the similar code to use.

Now everyone will be abusing their pets for the sake of science.

I like this idea. Just throwing this out there, but there could also be a larger version of the scorpions as as a boss. Maybe it would even summon the smaller scorpions?

Not a problem and post if you are still having problems or if it is fixed. I don't give up so easily.

I doubt those had any affect. I would try either reinstalling Minecraft, or try using a different launcher just as a test. FTB and Technic both have a Vanilla option. As I said the different launcher option is more of a test than anything and I think it unlikely to resolve your problem.
If you do decide to reinstall, make sure you backup your worlds and any other files.

Not a problem, just post if it works or you need more help.

Have you installed any programs/games that use Java or might have modified Java since you last played MP?

While I like the idea I don't see them adding it because of the above reason and because their are a lot of mods/plugins that do this. Mojang typically justs lets the community create theses things so that if you want it you can have it, but if you don't want it you don't have to add it.
If nothing else it would be an interesting mod ideas as it requires you to create the item to keep your inventory rather than it being automatic. For that reason I support as it is different to the game rule.

OK, I use that as well for some tasks. I was wondering if it was another program like hamachi that could be causing the problem. Hamachi is different than No-IP. They give you a sub domain that points to your IP address where as Hamachi is a Virtual Private Network that allows the computers to communicate as if they were on the same Local Area Network.

How long has this issue been going on for? General query while I think on it some more.
0
Yes it does give you a dedicated IP but only those running hamachi and part of the virtual network can connect. You mention another program, may I inquire as to what it is?
0
Well I am not entirely sure of the problem, yet. I would try using Hamachi since it appears to be you and a couple of friends on the server. As I said I don't normally suggest this as it can add some latency issues but it might work for you in this case. If that works and you are happy with it great, if not then we have some more digging to do

I am thinking that this is a firewall issue on his end. Was he ever able to join other servers?

Did the client display any message stating why you could not connect?

Now I know you mentioned having checked your windows firewall, but I want to get more info on that if it is okay. You set Java as an In Bound rule allowing UDP on all ports correct?
