Jul 7, 2012LordAwesomeMan posted a message on Snapshot 27a; 1.3 NewsI'd like to report a bug. I don't know if this is just me, but when I disconnect from my world in 12w27a, and then reconnect, all my signs have reset and are blank. This is very annoying and I'd like an explanation or a manual fix. Help?Posted in: News

Apr 30, 2012LordAwesomeMan posted a message on Change Your Minecraft Name? Possibly In The FutureI personally, would love to change my username. I always liked the ability to change your name in Steam. I got Minecraft in very early Beta days, and at that time, I just downloaded a "illegal" copy and I was living off that until 1.6.6, since then, people don't call me "LordAwesomeMan", to my Steam friends and others, they know me as "Redbird". So I think this new feature would be great for the game.Posted in: NewsQuote from Chilli_Axe
In addition to the unique ID for every player, admins should be able to run a command to see any previous usernames the player has had.
Agreed?
This is a feature of Steam, if you have a friend added to your Steam network, you can view their previous 'aliases'. Being able to view another players alias would be great in terms if you are an admin or mod, but the problem is, they would have to set up something similar to the Steam Community websites that lead you to peoples user ID and profile. To imitate this in-game would be hard, just programming the ability to change your name in-game would be easier. - To post a comment, please login.

If you support this idea, I'd also add the Baby Scarecrow, a miniature craft of the Scarecrow, made with a 1 wood plank (any colour) base, 2 sticks and a pumpkin head, and scares mobs away at half the distance of a Scarecrow, 7 blocks.
I really hope this update comes quick, I'd love to play it again. Take care.

Yes, but in early Beta, you could make super trees, trees with a 12 block thick trunk. This is manual.
This 'glitch' has been around since late Alpha versions.
Glad I could inform you!
Brilliant thought, but I doubt it
I was thinking the same thing, but my father ended up making a GIANT house inside the "trunk" of his man-made tree, I might post pictures of this as well in the future.Thank you everyone for your feedback!

Something I just found today, thought I'd share it.
EDIT: Where I think you've seen this before was in late Alpha versions and early Beta...I've seen videos of people putting saplings in a specific pattern, then letting them grow into Super Trees. So yes, in some way, you are right. This isn't "new".

Where is this?

My father had created a GIANT 7 by 7ish tree house inside the trunk. This glitch is like having a mod...minus the mod! This glitch is one of the few "glitches" that shouldn't be removed from the game, so enjoy this glitch while it lasts! The images aren't in correct order, but this is 101% legitimate. Try it for yourself and add your feedback!
