Looks like you've done a good job with this one! I'll admit it, the idea of a steampunk modpack has crossed my mind a few times lately, and I'm glad someone's made one.
My only gripe is that it seems pretty magic based for a steampunk pack, So I'll keep an eye out for some good steampunk esque mods for you.
Lastly, do you need graphics for your technic logo and background? If so, may be able to help.
I've been following this guy's tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWLTUG684tcT1Li42iuLoMg and have run into a problem launching a base mod(using forge 10.12.2.1121 for 1.7.2). It doesn't look like an error with the coding to me, but I'm probably overlooking something.

I'd really appreciate the help! Also, if it's something super obvious that I'm overlooking, bear in mind that's it's literally my first day.
1. Why does everyone want to add a reaper it seems kind of typical to me.
2. Your forum signature links to a realisim mod pack , so why would you want to use this mod if you're looking for realism?
Ah, but that modpack is finished, I'm working on a magic based one!
As for reapers/ghosts, they've been in urban myths and folklore for centuries, seemed to me that they would make a good addition to a mod called "Myths and monsters".
Very nice! I have a question, is there any chance that you will add mod compatibility? Perhaps by adding an ID list in the config of what items can be thrown?(with the goal of allowing for people to add IDs from other mods)
This really is an amazing mod. As a modpack maker, this is going to help so much! Keep up the good work!
Edit: I've run into a problem. I can't seem to open the schematics generated by the mod in NBTEdit. It gives me a message saying "error loading file: object reference not set to an instance of an object" and opens up a blank schematic file.
Strange thing is, the structures are still spawning in the world! I'd really appreciate some help.
EDIT(again): Nevermind! Updating NBT Explorer fixed it.
While those are some fun mods, I don't think that two mods really require that I make a modpack for them. Why not just get forge installer and install them directly to minecraft?
So I've been making themed modpacks for a while, but my success has been very limited. I started with Shadows of Dystopia, which admittedly got a little out of hand, but I've just reconstructed it. It was a modpack with the idea of having both Technology and adventure, without it become a mesh of unlike mods. Thing is, despite it's seemingly intriguing subject, it really hasn't gotten very many players.(you can get it here)
After SoD, I made Crafter's tale, a more conventional adventure modpack. The Idea was to keep it vanilla in feel, but add alot to the game. It was a short lived side project for me, and is no longer Accessible to the public. Never the less, for the time it was public, it didn't get too many players either!
My latest modpack, Arrani's Realism, was a modpack I had planned for months and did alot of testing before releasing it. As you might expect, it didn't do all that well either.(you can get it here)
Needless to say, none of my modpacks have really made it big, and it makes me want to know this: what kind of modpack do you guys want? What is it that you want to see come out of a new modpack? If I can pinpoint the subjects that people are looking for, perhaps I will be able to make a more popular modpack!

Also, what's the modpack policy?
