try loading the map with the previous version. most likely there was some changes to the seed generation of the world. that or maybe somehow the item id for air got switched with water, that might be a possibility
Typically when i explore a world, or I am trying to find a place to settle, i typically leave lil 5x5 "peasant shacks" wherever i go. i just build them at night put in a crafting table, furnace, and some chests and spend my night getting supplies etc while i wait for morning. Then typically ill leave it there with a bit of the supplies i gatherd and some food in case i came back around that way. its easy to do and always fun to stumble across them again as your traveling
idk how for vanilla minecraft, but i know that you can bind the lightning command to a stick using plugins. what exactly are you doing with your minecraft, is it just regular vanilla or plugin based?
You're probably reading this because you want to find a specific ore's spawning levels. I've gotten these off websites, google, wikis etc. So some of them might not be exact. The ones below you are what you can find them at. The ones below them are the most common sections of the levels.
Levels:
Diamond level: 0-16
Emerald Level: 1-30
Iron level: 5-67
Redstone level: 5-15
Lapis Lazuli level: 14-33
Coal Level: 5-131
Commonly Found:
Diamond: Basically all levels are the same....
Emerald: Not very common on the levels.
Iron: 5-54
Redstone: 5-12
Lapis Lazuli: 14-16

What got you interested in the server:
It all started when I first loaded up Minecraft for the first time and played it solo, I had a wonderful time for hours on end, I learned how to use red stone and learned how to build properly and learned how to use scale etc, all the fun stuff when you want to build something properly. Anyway one day I just realized this would be a lot more fun with players, but I knew there were plenty of servers out there and I had to decide which one was right for me. After trying a host of different types of servers it has come to my conclusion that I like vanilla based servers with friendly people to get to know and possibly make friends with.
Solo/Group: Interesting question, if I wanted to play solo I would just stick to single player, anyway I enjoy playing with a group of people to tackle things that would be either impossible or take a long time with just one person.
PvP/Non-PvP: I've played plenty of games that had pvp within them and in my honest opinion I find that for a lot of people it can bring the worst out of people, every time pvp was involved with any game I played there was a lot of raging and cursing, and I was never a fan of that, and let's face it I've never been that good at pvp to begin with.
Leader/Follower: I am two sided with this one, if someone needs to take charge then I am happy to do some, but if there is a leader already I have no problem following, it's not like I am going to start a rebellion or anything.
Giving/Reciving: I's fun helping those who might need it but I normally don't ask for hand outs, if it can be done I will find a way to get it done.
About me:
I've been playing minecraft now for a little over 3 years now, and don't plan on stopping anytime soon, I am easy to get along with an a team player and easy to joke with. I've been a gamer since I was 6 years old when I got my first gaming console which was the Nintendo, I couldn't put it down! Can way say Legend of Zelda?!
