I'm, unfortunately, having the same issue as Origami. Worked fine at first, then I toyed with the settings a bit, and now it doesn't work at all. No idea why it doesn't work either - it's weird.

Oct 21, 2014Lokomo posted a message on Better Records - Download songs from the internet!Hmm...what's a good source to upload songs to that works and will let one use them with this mod? I tried the one someone made in the thread, didn't work (UTF-8 charset not supported error). MediaFire doesn't work, Directly from media.io doesn't...any suggestions?Posted in: Minecraft Mods

The freaking speaker wires. Won't connect, just flash red and black in a weird wireframe setup and disappears. So my disc player has the same old 40 block range, even though I have speakers nearby to connect them up to.
Apr 1, 2014If you want to use Hamachi, make sure you set the network up with a password and ONLY give that password to your friends. Otherwise yes, it can be dangerous and risky. A safer alternative is Tunngle, a service like Hamachi but more for gaming.Posted in: Minecraft Tools
Jul 29, 2013@ethioptian - So if it says "-Xmx1G" I would change the 1 to something like 2 or 3, maybe 4 so it would read "-Xmx(2/3/4)G" to change the amt. of RAM allocated, correct? Regarding that, how could one make Minecraft use as much of said allocated RAM as possible all the time? I can allocate 6 GB of RAM to Minecraft, but there's no way to force it to use as much of it as possible all the time.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
Jul 27, 2013If I ever become a good texture artist (which I never will) I would make one with an Anime theme, specifically ones for different animes ("Puella Magi : Madoka Magica" for an example, or for the older folks who remember it, "Galaxy Express 999"). I might just make a sound resource pack too. But I'll let ya know good sir, I do agree that there should be a few more resource packs that take advantage of this new feature we have been given without needing mods.Posted in: Resource Pack Discussion
Jul 16, 2013Traditional sand generators that create a very sudden move (less than half a tick I believe) won't work, as they fixed that glitch. Now pistons only respond to redstone signals that last at least 0.5 ticks (I think). I'm not totally sure, but I think that's it (A guy fixed MumboJumbo's double piston extender for a spiraling piston door he had made. That was one of the issues).Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms
Jul 14, 2013Lokomo posted a message on [1.2.5] [GravityCraft+MineUp!] GalaxyCraft! The newest in GravityCraft Open World Maps! [BETA]So here's what I'm going to do with this (I know the thread is ancient, but I have been busy with life, so yeah).Posted in: Maps
I'm going to wait until GravityCraft & MineUP update to a more recent version (1.2.5 is kinda old...) and do a total rework of GalaxyCraft, along with some Sonic COLORS inspired levels. Why wait? Well, the newer versions will allow me to do some more crazy stuff than 1.2.5 will allow me to do. Even just having the mod updated to 1.5.x will be good enough for me. Once it gets updated and is stable, I'll begin my work. It shouldn't take too long (assuming GravityCraft+MineUP gets updated fairly soon) to get some simple versions out.
Adios, my friends! Thanks for being interested and voting in the poll!

This mod looks really awesome, but it doesn't seem to support it...I'm also using MagicLauncher, is that OK to use or what?
Jan 1, 2013I saw 3 threads, all posted by you, with the same freaking title. If you have a new idea, edit the post instead of making a new topic.Posted in: Requests / Ideas For Mods
Only thing I saw in there that would be nice is the non-growing vine.
Dec 29, 2012Sorry, but Mystcraft is probably how you'll have to do it. To my knowledge, there are no forge mods that allow that. And besides, if there were your users would have to install it too. Might as well just use Mystcraft - keep everyone happy.Posted in: Requests / Ideas For Mods

Ivorius, take your time. Don't rush and make hundreds of mistakes, that'll ruin it and make it harder. Just make sure everything is good as you go along. Also, perhaps releasing what you think are "beta" builds (somewhat stable, but not 100% clean) to people who want to test it out for you while you go would be a good idea. Maybe even "weekly" (or "Nightly" if you can) builds for maximum effect. We tell you of bugs while you just code.
EDIT: Also if you decide to do "Beta' builds, I'd be happy to test them out. Just make sure to let me know what MC version it's for, and what all is needed. Thanks!

Nov 29, 2011Lokomo posted a message on New Weekly Video Series - What Do You Want To See In It?I'm not sure what I would expect to say, but personally, going onto servers (such as Gazamo or Anticraft, or even *gasp* Hamachi Places) and seeing what's made there, their style, how their server works, and some of the players there. For instance, you could go on there and then ask the players questions (I must stress this, look for people that know what they are doing, (Look for people that have donated money, people that are mods/admins, etc.) and ask them how much they enjoy their server. Most people will, and if they say that they don't enjoy it much, ask why. Has something bad happened?Posted in: News
In summary, a server news report, based on information receieved from players on server.
Slightly Off-Topic right now, but what about the other video's you guys were doing? Like contests and "Digital Diamonds"? I enjoy DigitalDiamonds a lot, show's me what people are making out there in the MC Universe.
Aug 17, 2011...sad that we all are boycotting Bethesda for this reason. Get over it, when i get the money I will still get SkyRim, but it's because I support Bethesda Game Studios, not Bethesda Softworks.Posted in: News
Again, let's all be supportive of the actual game makers and not the publishing firm, OK?
Aug 11, 2011I think people might need some clearing up here...Posted in: News
1-Bethesda Softworks (Bethesda Game Studios publisher) did NOT actively sue Mojang, their lawyers tricked them into doing this.
2-Bethesda Game Studios is not related to this at all, so don't be hating on them. Matter of fact when I get the money I'm going to go out there and buy Skyrim.
3-Yes it's over a word, but again, their lawyers saw that it could implicate "The Elder Scrolls" but again, Bethesda Softworks was tricked into this. "If you knew nothing about cameras and I sold you a camera without me explaining what it could do very well, would you buy it or not?" Since Bethesda Softworks did not know the situation to it's fullest, they went ahead with the sueing, much like how the camera idiot bought a camera with almost no extra things.
Phew, I hope that clears things up.
On a random note, and possibly a bit more on topic, ever wonder what would happen if Mojang went on with this game? Something tells me that Bethesda Softworks might be a little more willing to see what's going on here. Just keep the lawyers in the Lawyer Room until it's time.
Aug 7, 2011This makes absolutely NO SENSE to me. Thank god that I already hate Bethesda anyway.Posted in: News
Plus, "The Elder Scrolls" is a SERIES, not a singular game. Plus it's an item in Oblivion, so really, what's to get all huffy about?
Or should I say...nah I won't.
Anyway I hope this get's sorted out soon-I do NOT want Mojang to lose this. If Bethesda loses it, that's fine, they still can produce games, but if Mojang loses...well...let's say that we might not be seeing updates as often...
I want to hit Bethesda with a
Jul 10, 2011Hey guys, remember the time when Notch and the crew at Mojang were updating EVERY SINGLE DAY? Be glad that that isn't happening at the moment.Posted in: News
Anyway yeah this is a neato update-but still going to stick to MC 1.7.2 due to safety issues involving 1.7.3. Honestly glad that their fixing a few glitches and bugs for once in a looong time. I hope that 1.8 will be after this =D
