    Could you tell us a little bit about your server? For example, is there a Skype group with everyone that plays? How many players are there, and are they active? Thanks!

    Hey guys, it's Logikable here with a new prison server!






    Trailer:

    As with all prison servers, the Penitentiary Prison Server is a prison server with "jobs" that you can do to make money and rank up. As soon as you have enough money, you can then pay your way out of the prison. It'll be pretty much Minecraft Survival by then, I'll have more info on this later.

    RANKS:

    Rank C:

    Cost: Free
    This is the rank you begin in, everyone starts here. There are many PvP zones and it's a slow money-making process.

    Rank B:

    Cost: $20,000
    This rank has a few differences. There are still the same amount of PvP areas, but the jobs here are much better. You now have access to a better tree farm, a sandstone mine with a bit of gold in it, and finally a reed farm. The cells are also slightly larger, but also more expensive.

    Rank A:

    Cost: $50,000
    This is much better. An improved netherrack quarry, an even better tree farm, and a pumpkin farm! The cells are even larger now!

    Rank Elite:
    Cost: $100,000
    Luckily, this section of the prison has no PvP areas! You have a snow mine, a very effective tree farm, and even a melon farm! Your cells are very large and comfy.

    Free:

    Cost: $150,000
    Yes! You're out! Finally, after hours of work, you have made it out. You can play the game now like regular survival, but you can also visit the prison. However, keep in mind that all rules apply while you're in the prison.

    C-Guard:

    You must have played for 5+ days on the server.
    Accessible Areas: C-Block
    Nice job, you've made it to a guard rank. Your job is to keep the prison a safe place, and make sure to respect everyone, like always.

    B-Guard:

    You must have played for 3+ days since C-Guard.
    Accessible Areas: C-Block, B-Block
    Sweet! You can now patrol B. Like before, your job is to maintain a level of safety within the prison.

    A-Guard:

    You must have played for 7+ days since B-Guard.
    Accessible Areas: C-Block, B-Block, A-Block
    Great! You're now an A-Guard. You're near the top, don't give up, keep working and you'll be a Sr-Guard.

    Sr-Guard:

    You must be chosen by the Sr-Wardens, community vote MAY be held.
    Accessible Areas: C-Block, B-Block, A-Block, Elite-Block, Freeville.
    Awesome! Gratz to you on Sr-Guard. This is the highest level of guard you can become, however, there is one more possibility...

    ChatMod:

    You must have played for 7+ days, must be approved by Warden+
    Accessible Areas: All
    The moderators moderate the chat (obviously), they have many commands. They assist the Wardens/Sr.Wardens in keeping the chat clean and helping out new players.

    Moderator:

    You must have played for 14+ days since Sr-Guard/ChatMod, must be approved by Sr-Wardens. A community vote will also be held.
    Accessible Areas: All
    The Mod's job is to act as a guard and as a chat mod, muting loud players and jailing the PvPers.

    Warden:

    You must be chosen by the Sr-Wardens, community vote will be held.
    Accessible Areas: Everywhere, including my house.
    A very high rank. This is the rank, I'm sure, EVERYONE would like to be. However, only the most privileged can achieve this rank, because you run the server. They do not act like guards, but rather they maintain peace across the entire server.

    Sr-Warden:

    Unluckily for all of you children out there, you cannot become this rank. Only the two server owners can have it, myself (Logikable) and Hampston.

    Rules:
    1. No hacking or hacked clients.
    2. No mods of any sort (excluding things like TMI, NEI, etc.)
    3. No x-ray texture packs, including transparent ones.
    4. No spamming.
    5. No advertising.
    6. No harassing.
    7. No exploits of ANY sort.
    8. No glitches or bugs.
    9. No griefing within the prison or major griefing outside.
    10. No usage of flint and steel for griefing.
    11. No usage of lava buckets for griefing.
    The following rules only apply inside the prison.
    1. No weapons: If a guard sees you with a weapon of any kind, you will have 5 seconds to hand it over or else the guard can jail/kill you.
    2. No potions: The same rules apply as "No Weapons".
    3. No Non-pvp area abusing: If a guard sees you do such a thing, you will be jailed.
    4. No griefing mines: You will be jailed.
    5. No tree farm griefing: You will be jailed.
    6. No dropping sand/gravel in mines.
    7. No pushing others out of non-PvP zones.
    Guard Rules:
    1. If a contraband item is seen (weapons, potions, flint and steel, lava buckets), order the prisoner to drop it. If the prisoner does not do so after a 5 seconds (you must count down in chat), jail him if he is in non-PvP, kill if in PvP. If a player runs, jail them, this includes running into any non-PvP zone.
    2. You are permitted to fight back against any one else who hits you or another prisoner. However, if one of the two is being attacked but not fighting back, do not attack him.
    3. Write "lolcat I'm a derp" in your guard application or else it will not be accepted.
    4. To jail someone, type /jail <name> <duration> <reason>. The standard duration is 5, or 5 minutes. Jail only for reason.
    5. You have 2 kits, /kit cguard and /kit food. Be warned, these two kits have a slight time limit.
    6. Do not keep/trade your kits. You must dispose of your previous kit in a lava pit/fire before you can get a new one. If a warden+ sees you have kept a kit, you will be demoted to C-Prisoner.
    7. You must remain respectful, as it is your job to maintain peace in this prison.
    Moderator Guidelines:

    The moderators' jobs are to watch the chat for unruly prisoners who abuse the chat. Write "I am awesome" in your application or else you will be denied. A few things that the moderators have to watch for:

    Mute the player if:
    1. Minor spamming
    2. Large amount of cursing/caps lock spam
    3. Disrespect
    4. Harassment.
    Ban the player if:
    1. Major spam
    2. Racism
    3. Advertisment

    How much experience do you have with guarding?: None, i applied for guard on infarnum, my application was accepted but the server closed down.

    What is the reason you would like to become a guard?: I want to be able to protect new players from being attacked and killed by more experienced members and i want to prevent pvp abuse. When i was a new player on the other servers i got frequently bullied by older players and I hope to protect others from that abuse.
