I've been learning C++ for a while and I just found http://fixbyproximity.com/ for Allegro tutorials and I've already managed to make Pong and Snake! I've found allegro to be fairly easy to figure out so I would recommend C++ and your faveorite graphics/input library.
Thanks. I've always wanted to check out C++ but I've been VERY hesitant just because of the complexity and depth of it. Although I think it is time I should take a look at it. Could you recommend any C++ compilers?
Hey guys, I've been wanting to start making an indie game for awhile now and I have been trying to figure out which language would be best to program it in. I know a bit of Java, and C# and am eager to learn more. But I want to find out which language would be worth pursuing for later use in game development and programming.
I really want to install this one mod on my computer called "Mobdisguise" which is now out for 1.8.1 which I have backed up, but ever since I reswitched my OS, I do not have the luxury of being able to look into .jars with archive manager. To top that, Winzip wants me to either buy Winzip to get winzip, or make me buy something else to get winzip. I will not accept anything pirated, but I do not want to pay for anything either. I can't, really, I am only 14.
Can anyone tell me another (free and unpirated) way to unzip .jars on a Windows XP laptop? I need help.
I've had that idea since Alpha 1.2_02 and I looked at xpadder and everything. I just never got around to doing it. Thanks for showing me how finally!!! 5 Diamonds for you.
Yea it would. I'm a little disappointed with Minecraft IOS because i was looking forward to it because it's the only other platform I could have played it on other than PC. But it turns out it isn't compatible with my 3rd gen Ipod Touch :\
Good job, but it's pretty useless, PC controls are much easier.
Still +1'd.
Yea PC controls are alot easier although the way I have it configured at the moment isn't to bad. I like it because it feels different and I like a change of how I play a game every once in awhile ;P
OMG i just bought a ps3 and this would make my day XD how do you do it good sir? + 1 for u
Haha :tongue.gif: You have to download Motion and Joy from Motionandjoy.com and also Download Minecontrol. I will make a video tutorial later probably if you want me to.
I first bought the game in alpha, those were the days :tongue.gif: I first tried the game when the alpha login server crashed and the game was free to all until it was back up, after that I never went back (:
