posted a message on Any way to move buildings within the same map?

    Look at the WortdEdit mod.

You can //pos1 (NW corner) //pos2 (SW corner) //expand 100 100 u (//copy 100 blocks above and below where you //pos1 and //pos2ed), //copy (note where you //copy, that is where it will //paste in relation to you later) //schematic save name .

Go anywhere in the world and schematic load name, and //paste. you'll need a little patience, it can take what seems like forever.

I know WE will work for 1.12.2 and below. I'm not certain there is a 1.13 or 1.14.

    Need more help, PM me.

posted a message on I Kind of need help here...

If 1.12 or less you could load the WorldEdit mod. //pos1 (NE corner), //pos2 (SW corner), //expand # u, and finally //regen. That will restore the jungle to what it was before you logged.

You could even //copy (SW corner after //pos1 (NE corner), //pos2 (SW corner), //expand # u), //schematic save name.

Find and collect your cocoa beans, then go to the SW corner and //schematic load name, //paste.

The last two sentences will restore the jungle to what it was after you logged.

Remove WorldEdit from your mods directory and it's like it never happened.

I'm not up on mods above 1.12. It may be possible to do this with 1.13 and 1.14. A little light reading should tell you that.

The above works for java. It may be completely in error for PS3 if so I'm sorry. If my old eyes are correct you posted in the java Minecraft section. You might get a more fitting response in the PS3 Minecraft forum.

    Edit 2

A moderator moved this thread from an incorrect section (java), to here (PS3) where it belongs.

    Thanks to whoever moved it.

Just to be 100% safe, make a copy and rename the copy Minecraft.old. I'd do it to my desktop but if you can find it can be anywhere.

If it hiccups rename it minecraft-old, I'm certain that will work.

You found 1 adult and two kittens. They can be tamed with raw fish.

Is it safe to go without McAfee?

There should be a way to tell McAfee to ignore MC without ignoring everything!

There is with Norton, it's a PITA but it is there.

posted a message on Minecraft mods not showing up in game

    Hello; I'll take a stab:

    1. Did you open the vanilla game?

    2. Have you run Forge 12.2 after running vanilla?

On my machine, there exists a mods folder \mods\12.2(version); that's where I put 12.2 mods.

posted a message on is there anyway to copy my old home to another world with the same seed?

    @gunnercats;

Using NBTExplorer it is possible to copy and paste your inventory from your old world to your inventory in the new world (I use it primarily for enchanted tools). I place my entire inventory in a chest in the new world before I do this (your existing inventory will be overwritten). Need more help, PM me.

posted a message on How do I find the End Portal within the stronghold?!

Hello Major, it does glitch once in a while. If it's a glitch it can be regenerated with the right Mod.

What seed and version are you playing? With java there are many strongholds, Where are you looking for your stronghold? I'll take a look and If I find it post its location under a spoiler.

    Lou

I've had two strongholds surrounded by water that were very difficult to find. I think I've had two worlds where they just weren't there; //regen fixed those.

What the two gents(?) above suggested is probably the quickest and easiest.

I don't know whether there is 1.14 version of WorldEdit. You can probably create your new world in 1.12.2 (I know that one has WE) and update to 1.14. If you do that DO NOT cover any more blocks than absolutely necessary. Any blocks explored will not contain any changes beyond 1.12.

Look at the WorldEdit Mod (in my signature is a PDF command list, the links are probably dead).

//pos1 and //pos2 (wooden axe) the NW and SE corners, //expand 30 30 u, //copy (make a note of where you do this, your home will //paste in the same orientation relative to you), //schematic save name (old world). New world; //schematic load name, //paste. It isn't as complicated as it sounds (need more help PM me).

    HTH

    Lou

Once done (and you save the new world) you should be able to remove the Mod.

Look at //regen too (you may be able to recover your existing world (not beyond the latest version of WE).

MCEdit can probably do something similar but I cannot help you with that Mod.

I just placed a minecart on a track, entered it, and emptied a bucket of water into it. That will undoubtedly remove your villager.

Be warned... there will be a flood. Any track will be moved.

    Quote from MarieRP»

I don't know if this has been asked before, and I'm sorry if it has, but I was wondering how to run this with the Twitch/Curse launcher (if it's possible at all). The only x-ray mod I can find for a 1.7.10 modpack requires LiteLoader, and I'd really like to use it! I'm sorry if this question is annoying, but I appreciate any and all help!

This is uyjulians X-ray Mod and it worked with Forge and LiteLoader on 1.7.10 for me. I didn't try it with Twitch/Curse. You may need to download an earlier version. https://sites.google.com/site/awertyb/minecraft-mods/x-ray-mod/m

The following link contains some old versions but not what you're looking for, I suggest you contact Julian:

Here is what I used with 1.7.10:

    Forge 1558

You may be able to speed that. Try ½ (or ¼) at a time.

If you have multiple Mods causing a problem it may not work.
