the forum's shutting down? wow, lame, even though i didn't use it to converse with other people that much this is really the only place i ever looked for new texture packs and kept up to date on the ones i really liked.
I'd also suggesting making like a twitter or something for people to follow to keep up with updates whenever you're able to work on them, if you're up to making one.
whatever happens next, this remains one of my favorite minecraft texture packs, i will continue to enjoy looking at the art you've created, and admire your dedication to continue to work on it over the years! thanks glim!
The llamas look great! And don't all pettable quadrapeds just fall under the internet category of 'Weird Dog' anyway?
Also, I love all the new flowers, all the variety'll make natural flower forests and hand-made gardens look so cool! Can't wait to play around with the updates!
Though I haven't played minecraft much recently (or when I do want to play it's to procrastinate on something else so I have to force myself to not play lol), I still check this out every time there's a new post since it's still one of the coolest texture packs out there. I like the purple bed and the fancy blue one!
Also, looking at the pics of the beds again I've just noticed a strange exceedingly long cobble in the wall above the bed! Why have I never seen this before!? Going to have to do something about that for sure as it certainly wasn't intentional. Flip! It must have been the results of an all-nighter...probably. Lol!
It's a shame my old laptop can barely run anything higher than 16x nowadays, so I haven't really been playing minecraft much though I could always "borrow" my brother's new desktop....
I haven't played with biomes o plenty in a long time, but those screenshots are making me want to set it up again. It's looking really good, awesome job!
Gimp will easily convert, but I'm sure there are other pure converters if you're not looking for all the bells and whistles of a full graphic suite.
Yeah I have Gimp and will probably end up having to do it that way, but I was looking more along the lines of "convert 100+ images from png. to jpg with 1 - 3 clicks" lazy, haha.
Woooooow... That is awesome! Everything is one style, connected... I like your city very much!
You should spawn, or bring some villagers in there, so it'll be inhabited!
I did spawn some villagers one time, but I was still building that area then and they got in the way. I'll totally spawn in some more and let them wander around while I continue to expand.
1. If you can, convert your images to '.jpg' format as it makes for smaller, quicker uploads for me and saves me having to convert from '.png'.
2. Put your title/description and name in the '.jpg' file title, then I can easily copy that as a description when I upload it to the Gallery album.
3. If there's an order to the pics, by all means add a sequence number into the title and I'll try and keep the same order with whatever pics I choose.
Oh yeah .png, that's probably why it took me so long to upload them. Sorry about that.
And it seems there no way to make minecraft save screenshots in .jpg or make imgur convert them when they upload. Ah well, guess I'll have to find another lazy way to do it.
Man, you guys are making me want to share some screenshots of my city. Though my buildings aren't nearly as grand or architecturally accurate. I just wanted to build something that would look fun to explore.
I took most of these last night, and got around to sorting them today. The numbers are just for me to keep them in order. You can also find the point about halfway through when my descriptions occasionally became less... descriptive, haha. Or more descriptive depending on how you look at it.
I'm really digging the new cobble double slab! (haha, digging, minecraft, eh? eh? :D) I can definitely think of some cool uses to put that to. Excellent work as always glim.
And although I'm not really that big into mods, those textures look pretty great too, megistus!
I haven't patched in the update yet, and was just looking at the options, and this happens when my mouse goes over some of them:
Dunno what the deal is, but I thought I'd post about it here in case it happens to anyone else. (If it's some common or easily fixable thing I just don't know about ignore this)
I don't know if it's buried deep in this forum, but if you don't mind my asking, I've been wondering what the quartz textures are based on. Or if they're not really based on anything.
Aw man, I'm loving the new sandstone textures! I honestly can't remember what the old sandstone looked like (mostly because I'm at work and can't check :P), but the new sandstone looks soooo great, I can't wait to get home and get to building even if I can't use those beautiful new textures just yet.

And now with all that unnecessary hassle the OP and curse have put you through, you definitely deserve a break. Have fun!
