Yes, I play vanilla minecraft... I do have optifine on 1.6.4 if that counts as a mod though.
But on 1.7 its pure vanilla, I didn't have any mods on 1.6.4 either. :/ I probably would if I could though, vanilla is sort of starting to get a bit stale... (Lucky 1.7 is out now, bit more to do and explore.) But I haven't been able to get forge to work, I haven't had any mods since 1.5 :/
I use to play a LOT more than 0 to 2 hours a day. But the 1.7 update has sort of brought me back. Same with a server I play on. I'm on the computer wayyy longer than 2 hours a day though. xD Just browsing forums like this...
Do you guys ever think Minecraft isn't suppose to be realistic? The biomes are loosely based off of Earth's to make a realistic world, but not a completely realistic world. Just please stop complaining and think before you post!!
Exactly! They aren't meant to be super realistic, and i'm glad they aren't.

Its a game, Minecraft! I'm glad it doesn't look to much like real life, that would be kind of boring.

I think the stone mixed in with the grass looks nice! And seeing it compared to the flat 1.7 beta terrain the new one looks way better. I don't like building on really flat spots, I like to mix my buildings into the terrain if I can, I find it looks much nicer, but that's probably just me.
But really, in pretty much all the updates I haven't had any complaints, one of the only things about this update that I don't like much is the ocean gravel floor, even that's not to bad, its not as if you going to see it much anyway...
Sorry if I sounded a little rude/annoying but I just find it frustrating how some of you will complain about so many things... Your still playing the game aren't you? Its not that bad.

USE your imagination... Make paths leading through the jungle, make the inside of a cave look nice... Make a tree house... The list goes on forever. :3
EDIT: Oh! Also, go on an adventure! Explore you world, make another base far away, connect it using rails!
I got my inspiration from a minecraft journal I read, seriously, it was the best journal I had ever read, he was roleplaying it the whole time to, and he made such amazing things!, he has had that world for a year or two now, I don't think he has ever had another one. He actually has a download for that world... Its like more than 200MB big!! He has explored so much of it! And there is sooo much to explore in it to. He told me there are places I wouldn't be able to find without his help.
My only complaint though is they moved sprinting to another button... :/ I was really use to it double pressing W.
But anyway, I guess I will have to try it and see what its like.
Bought this game yesterday! It's pretty awesome so far!
Don't think it will beat Minecraft for ME though, since its not really a full sandbox game.
But its still awesome!
And stop your complaining some of you saying that this is a forum JUST for minecraft stuff... :/
True, it is a MINECRAFT forum... That doesn't mean they can't post other stuff as well though.
