Does he really need MS Office or will G Docs or OpenOffice suffice? A Chromebook is way better than any other laptop at this price. The battery life is amazing.
He definily needs ms office, he uses alot of programs only available on windows and needs that offline ability
(Few are 3d,but ran easily on my old laptop (intel core 2 duo, igpu)
So there are two phones that I want to start saving up for.
1. Samsung Galaxy S5 (Don't want the s6)
2. Amazon Fire Phone
I have had my S2 since March 2015 (I use these phones as andriod iPods) and need some more power for my games (trying to reduce lag). Which of these phones should I get?
P.S PLEASE DO NOT SAY GET AN iPHONE! I hate them I have used the iPhone 4 before and it was a nightmare.
Galaxy S5,don't get fire phone unless you want that prime, also the lg g3/4 is good too (getting the g4 soon)
-Not all games are emulatable. Many have emulation problems. There are even NES games that don't work on any emulator- Rad Racer II, for example. Did y
ou verify that all his titles can run on emulators?
-Emulators like ePSXe get a lot of credit because they certainly represent a lot of effort. However in terms of emulation they are still somewhat primitive. Typically different games often require various plugins, so one thing that you'll need to do is get all the plugins you'll need and educate your uncle such that he will be able to change the plugins used when he switches ISOs.
There are N64 games that cannot be emulated; even the more popular games tend not to be emulated correctly, and the emulators that do work the best have CLI interfaces for N64.
One approach would be a Linux distribution with RetroArch installed, as well as a Retroarch front-end, which can automate some of the work.
I verified that the games he owns are 75% emulatable, 25% glitchy or non-emulatable
My uncle LOVES old games, and when i went to his collection,he had like A TON of games, from nes to playstation to some wii games, but he does not want like dozens of console in the room, so i said "how about a emulation pc" and there.
